The Earl of Hathaway
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/live-scores/scottish-first-division  So it comes down to Sunday. I think I'd marginally prefer Dumbarton, but part of me quite likes (the idea of) a game against THEM and all the baggage that goes with it. Probably a decent crowd too.... Alan100
Airdrie should have won - they had more pressure, and Dumbarton's right back was sent off in the last minute and will miss the second leg. Interesting to see several people with Thsitle connections on screen.
Junior
Quite enjoyed the game, much better watching football where we actually have to care a bit about the outcome. Â Thought Dumbarton played well in the first half , Airdrie shouldve at least equalised although Dumbarton missed a good chance just at the end before the sending off. Â Looked like a full house as well

jagscast
I found out that Dumbarton's mascot is called Pele the Elephant. Â Genius.
lennythistle
I thought the coverage was awful. OK, interview Colin Cameron during game but at least keep showing the game and not turn to a camera on him......result...they all but missed the first goal!! uberteeb
I've not been to Dumbarton since the Boghead days, that new ground looks grim and the faux derby with Airdrie can be fun, bring on the Diamonds.
GrantB
I'm torn between wishing for 4 meaningful games in which to pump the scum or continuing to point and laugh at their failiure to get themselves out of the seaside league. Â Given the amount of horrific Fife teams in the league next season, I'm coming down on the side of hoping the scum win so we at teast have 4 games that have a bit of an edge to them. Dark Passenger
C'mon Airdire, c'mon Airdrie!
Kirkie Jag
The last few games against Airdrie have been grim and didn't seem to have much of an edge about them. Could have more of an edge if they come back up as we haven't played them in a while.
alx
Mon the Dumbarton, quite a few of my mates support them.
lady-isobel-barnett
I'm wanting Airdrie to win as a/ I'll save on diesel and b/ I'll be less cold sitting in their stand. Â That's just about all the interest I can muster re who goes up. Edited May 17, 2012 by lady-isobel-barnett
Collins Out!
Hoping for a Dumbarton win. I'd rather visit there than the dump at Drumgelloch that has absolutely nothing going for it and a few forty something hardmen running around trying to kid themselves on before and after the game. Ancipital
I'd rather Airdrie came up as they're about the only team outwith the SPL I still feel some genuine antipathy towards. Â Plus, I think Airdrie with a couple of additions (rumoured to be talking to Twaddle) could be competitive, whereas Dumbarton would get about 17 points all season... 9 of which would be against us. chunky jag
surely Twaddle could get a better club than Airdire?
jagfox
Airdrie Utd have a decent ground and a larger support. Both grounds are relatively close to Glasgow. Bit more edge to games with Airdrie Utd. So I'll go for Airdrie Utd, but not too fussed who wins through.

MWM
Dumbarton will get shafted near enough every week in the first division. Team full of average seaside league players. Probably still beat us once or twice like shite like Stirling have over the years. Edited May 20, 2012 by MWM
