"No more Jolly Jags. No more Cuddly Toy. No more plucky losers. No more red and yellow."

I've almost forgotten what colours we're supposed to play in these days.

Turn that around and we could have "Letter From Firhill" ;-)

I don't get it!

I think he's suggesting it looks rather ambiguously like it could mean no more Partick Thistle.

i think AH is meaning an adaption of the proclaimers "letter from america"

Lochaber no more

Sutherland no more

Lewis no more

Skye no more

Turn the words of CW around yoda styleee, and it works

(whether it means his end point is suggesting no more ptfc, i'm not so sure)

talking of statements on official sites this one from Dunfermline takes some beating re strange subject matter.

I knew what it was about but I'm sure not every Pars fan will have a scooby what's going on. http://www.dafc.co.u...207955_2898171?

the two young Dunfermline Athletic players were surprised to see the dog (in the photograph) with a ferret and the lady having to separate the two pets,

DAFC have confirmed through official sources that the lady does often bring both pets to accompany her, verifying the sequence of events

Maybe Jim Leishman will find some time to write a sonnet about Ferretgate.

Indeed. And no hidden meaning, merely a continuation in my quest for the worst wordplay in the world.

Genuinely one of the most funny and bizarre things I've ever read, and I've grown up on a comedy diet of Vic and Bob!
