Stephen1876
Does anyone know what has happened to Jamie Campbell. I really liked him when he first broke through under McCall - he seemed both skilful and versatile. He didn't feature under Jackie initially and had a fairly poor loan spell with Stenny. However, I have never heard anything about him since. He is still listed as being at the club but he is nowhere near the first team, doesn't seem to be featuring in the reserves and I don't think he is out on loan. So is he injured or just persona non grata?
Mr Bunny
Double-checked myself and absolutey nothing. Perhaps one of the forum folk who have connections with the club (e.g. working on program, photography, etc.) can enlighten us - or at least ask what's happened to him? Auld Yin
Long term injury, don`t know when he will be back.
Jaggernaut
I also liked the look of him when he got a few games.
little_miss_jag
http://ptfc.co.uk/news/2012-2013/october_2012/injury_update Injury update: “Jamie has a condition called Osteitis pubis which is basically an inflammation of the pubic bone. The pain that Jamie is in with this is excruciating and the only real treatment for it is rest. Unfortunately I think it will be about Christmas time before he will be back. I have to say that Jamie has been an absolute model professional. He just gets on with the work that we can give him and he is at every game and every training session. He is a pleasure to work with.”
Santana
Did Buchanan not have that?

Armand2
Did Buchanan not have that? And didn't MacBeth have it too? Seems more than coincidence that three of our players have developed this condition; I wonder if it could be brought on by training on certain surfaces? Armand2
What sort of surfaces do they train their pubic bone on? Grassy ones unless they're playing on a Brazilian turf... Anyway, was meaning possibly the impact of training on hard surfaces is causing the inflammation of this condition? Or maybe it is simply that we've just been unlucky to have three players within a short space of time who have the same kind of debilitating condition. read'n'yell
Out of interest, talking about surfaces, did anyone see Morton train on the news the other week? Their training pitch was literally a scrap piece of unmaintained land next to a farm. I've seen more level pitches on beaches than that. I'd be very surprised if the Pubic Health Inspector is unaware of this.

little_miss_jag
Heads out on Loan. http://ptfc.co.uk/news/2012-2013/january_2013/jamie_campbell_heads_out_on_loan Hope he does well.
kni
Since the loan is only for a month, the management team must think that Campbell can compete for a place in the squad on his return. Good luck to him!
lady-isobel-barnett
Pity Jamie wasn't fitter a couple of months ago. He could've had a spell out on loan and then fitted in at right back during O'Donnell's absence..

Good luck to him! I think it means it can also be extended by Stranraer.
Members Willjag
I like the idea of the one month loan deal. At least if the player isn't getting game time, the Club can get him back easily enough.
