The Cup
Another big game for Thistle. Raith's form hasn't been great and I think taking 3 points here to go top of the league is very achievable. Graham is obviously a good player so it will take another solid performance from the defence and Craig to take his chances. stillresigned
Cant see it being on to be honest! I agree, I believe the weather forecast is for more of the same tomorrow. Unless there is a totally unexpected change in the weather, I don't see the game going ahead. Given the authorities etc are aware of the situation surely an early decision must be made to avoid needlessly inconveniencing supporters, but maybe not going by football's track record in this country. TBH I for one would not relish sitting in freezing temperatures for a couple of hours, it was bad enough on Saturday.
Duck snort
Looks like there won't be much more snow so I think a frozen pitch is the only danger to the game.
Blackpool Jags
I'm told via a source from Kircaldy that the surface at Starks is fairly icy / frosty and the game's in quite a bit of doubt already. Not trying to make anything of this but just what I've been told. Hopefully the place will defrost a bit over next day or so but wouldn't bank on it. Junior
IMO there is no chance of this going ahead given the weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow. If there are doubts about the pitch already then they should call it off tonight if they can
kni
If the match is postponed, it should be rescheduled for the 26th. A mid-week match before the Ramsdens Cup Final would not be good for our preparations, especially if players pick up knocks.

John Blutarsky
Not looking good guys. Took me three hours to get through here to the far east this morning and it's mostly blizzardous. There's a fair covering of snow as well.

jagsfan1963
Had a wee look on Raith Rovers website and they have highlights up from the game on Saturday against Livi. Raith looked pretty poor in the first half with Livi having loads of possession. Better second half but the damage had been done by then. G SUS
Falkirk 20th, Dunfermline 27th Raith Rovers play Falkirk on the 27th April. I was presuming the original poster was suggesting the Raith Rovers game could be re-arranged for the 27th April, since that was what he was replying too... The Devil's Point
I'm thinking of going to this if it's on. Can anyone recommend a good place to park near the ground? I haven't been to Starks for years and can't remember if there is an official car park or whether you're better to look for somewhere in the surrounding streets. G SUS
If the match is postponed, it should be rescheduled for the 26th. Raith Rovers already have a game that midweek. Only available dates are Tuesday 2nd April(week before Cup final Tuesday 23rd April Tuesday 30th April
lady-isobel-barnett
Hope this doesn't come to pass. We would drop 9 points and Morton 7. Likewise. Latest is they're due £119K VAT. and winding up order on its way..
The Cup
Dunfermline going bust would be a nightmare. That is 3 points in the bag.
lady-isobel-barnett
Dunfermline going bust would be a nightmare. That is 3 points in the bag. Morton have them at home as well. The relative loss of 2pts plus 4 goals would be the real downside.
twinny
I really hope Dunfermline survive, as i know a few Dunfy fans. If they were to go though, why aren't unplayed fixtures considered walkovers? Surely this would be a better solution in the second half of the season? I can understand if it's early in the season why you would simply expunge their matches from the league table, but when the other nine teams have put in many many hours playing against Dunfermline, it would be unfair to take away their points. Say they go bust with 6 games to go, why is it fair to give the remaining 6 teams an extra 3 points, when 3 teams have had to play them(and may not have won)? The only fair way to do it is to expunge their results, which will unfortunately cost us 2 points in the title battle. I think they'll limp to the end of the season, then end up going under.
