stillresigned
Just saw the attendance figure of 716 on the official site, is this right? If that's right then that's appalling, especially for the brand of football we're playing. I have to admit I wasn't there myself, as I was dying with the cold, but I will be there on Saturday. I appreciate that for many valid reasons not everyone can make away games, but it is surely incumbent on all Thistle fans to pull out all the stops to make it on April 7th against Morton. The quality and consistency of this Partick Thistle team deserve IMO your support and as big an audience as possible. Come on lads and lassies, Scotland are rubbish, Sevco are sh*t, but we're top of the league and we've got to shout it out loud and proud Partick Thistle are back! thornwoodjag
It was snowing,it was freezing and it was Cowdenbeath! Nonsense post!
cjptfc
Thought the support was very decent last night, and in fine voice. Sorry for being a pr!ck but the Morton game is the 10th.
Charlie Endell
So, you didn't bother going yourself, but are slating others for not going? Also, we're playing Morton on 10th April - I'm sure we do have a fixture on the 7th though...

Peter McLindu
I was there. I recon the figure is spot on. That wee stand is superb atmosphere wise, mind that you can't really see whats going on. As everyone else suggests , Wednesday night, day before pay day, not 100% if game goes ahead and in Cowdenbeath imo its a cracking support. Norgethistle
500+ jags midweek in a cold shithole is perfectly acceptable..hats off to all that went Plus the game had been cancelled 3 or 4 times plus abandoned once, I think 500 is a good figure especially with the snow during the day
Jaggernaut
I think we might muster more like 1,000 for this Saturday.
Chicofan
I think we might muster more like 1,000 for this Saturday. doubtful with the final and Morton coming up..I would say around the same figure..but with being a saturday maybe an extra
johnkebab71
Our away attendance should never be questioned especially in this fixture due to the circumstances. Well done to all fans who went!
The Cup
If the Kincardine bridge is closed is the Clackmannanshire bridge still open?
Gary Peebles Tackle
Me & my mate were there & it felt like a good Jags support - especially for a Wednesday night. If there was more than 100 home fans, I'd be amazed. Still, glad to say 'I was there' when we went back to the top of the league!
jagsfan1963
I was there and it looked like most of the fans were Thistle fans. Cracking atmosphere in the wee stand with thistle fans in good voice.

robphil
i think the turnout given all the circumstances was astonishing. well done to all those who made the trip whilst i - to my shame - followed events on my lap-top with a bottle of shiraz to hand. kni
500+ jags midweek in a cold shithole is perfectly acceptable..hats off to all that went More than acceptable given the venue, postponement, abandonment and weather!! I hope that guys who cleared the pitch got a bonus for their efforts.
jagsfan1963
The guys who cleared the pitch got a good bonus - the bonus of watching us pump their team and return to the top of the league! Better than cash!!
Harry Wragg
Our away support has been superb all season , including last night, so don't criticise !! When we get into the SP Hell we wont have to go to these sh***y grounds on a night arranged by the numpties at hampden but the fact that we outnumber most support at our games gives me reason to applaud the fans and after all no-one can claim to have seen every game live this season, just concentrate on yourself and make sure you are there as part of the 12th man !! C'mon the champions !!!

peagreenboy
I would liked to have gone, but it looked impossible to get a bus back to Dundee at a reasonable time - more like waiting three hours in the freezing cold of Cowdenbeath. Anyway, I was almost positive the game would be called off anyway! 500 Jags fans is a great turn out for a miserable Wednesday in the back end of beyond. Blackpool Jags
To me, 300/350 Jags would've been a very good turnout. 500 is a tremendous number all the circumstances considered.

stillresigned
Wasn't intending to cast aspersions in any way on our traveling support, tbh was just shocked that a First Division game could be so poorly supported. If anything I meant to highlight the lack of support for Cowdenbeath. In all honestly with one or two exceptions, I struggle to understand how many of our opponents survive as half of them have hardly any supporters. jagfox
Was a good atmosphere, one of the best on the road this season. Players were very impressed according to their social media posts. Kincardine Bridge was open. Due to some poor navigating the promotion van took a trip over the Forth Road bridge on the way back
lady-isobel-barnett
Just for the record the temperature just after final whistle was -1C and i doubt if it was ever more than two degrees warmer during the whole game. Road conditions were dodgy after the game. I'm just pleased I haven't heard of anyone getting hypothermia or ending up in a ditch.
