King Kenny
Walker, Dinnie, Paterson, Craigen, Pittman, Kinnaird, Lennon, Charnley, Elliot, Britton & Burns was his team if I remember correctly. Skelping Declan Roache with a pidgeon was one of the highlights!

kni
Walker, Dinnie, Paterson, Craigen, Pittman, Kinnaird, Lennon, Charnley, Elliot, Britton & Burns was his team if I remember correctly. Skelping Declan Roache with a pidgeon was one of the highlights! That's my recollection too. Beattie talking a lot of sense now. Edit - he has just said that Paton and Erskine have signed PCAs with McNamara. Edited April 16, 2013 by kni
King Kenny
Sad to hear it now officially confirmed. Still, onwards and upwards!
SussexJag
Walker, Dinnie, Paterson, Craigen, Pittman, Kinnaird, Lennon, Charnley, Elliot, Britton & Burns was his team if I remember correctly. Skelping Declan Roache with a pidgeon was one of the highlights! Quite a team - interesting to see PK in there, and no Shaw or Irons. Pittman probably better than McVicar. Hardie? Probably not, but great for us! Jamieson was good for a wee bit. Agree with Walker ahead of Nelson but some folk rated Nelson. Guess Palin, Gibson, and McWalter just missed out! Probably one for the pub.
peagreenboy
also jags chairman on sportsound just after 7 pm regarding league reconstruction What did Beattie say about reconstruction? It would be good to know our club's position.
King Kenny
He did mention McWalter but not in complimentary terms! Between Archibald, Milne and Pittman for left back. He gave Irons a mention, saying how brilliant he was once he moved back from midfield. Went on to say he thought Hardie would make a great centre half but didn't tell Allan Moore! BowenBoys
On the subject of Steve Pittman, does anybody remember the game at Firhill where he got 3 red cards from the ref? He wasn't even in the team and was watching the game from the main stand.

kni
I wonder who Lambie would have picked for the bench. My guesses are Nelson, Irons, Shaw, Hardie and Grant.
kni
What did Beattie say about reconstruction? It would be good to know our club's position. Beattie was clearly in favour of the reconstruction plan. He was surprised that it was defeated.

David Stevenson
Quite a team - interesting to see PK in there, and no Shaw or Irons. Nor Farningham. Imagine that...... Name the two players who took Thistle to court over unpaid bonuses and won, resulting in the Judge being less than complimentary about the reliability of John Lambie and Gerry Collins as witnesses in the case...... http://partickthistleahistory.wetpaint.com/page/Irons+and+Farningham+Court+Case+(1993-95) Still one of our greatest managers of course......
