The Earl of Hathaway
The pic of Jim Slavin in the Moncur thread gave me pause to think of Hendo - one of the great unsung Jags players, I think. In the other thread someone mentions his son playing for Celtic. Didn't he have a kid who had a serious heart condition and is this the same one? ian_mac
Loved him as a player. Would deffo make it in to my jags XI of the 90s.

JobbyMahoney
Anyone remember him toeing a corner into the car park at Stirling Albion to waste time?
brodieboy
Anyone remember him toeing a corner into the car park at Stirling Albion to waste time? Don't remember this but I think he was the scorer for Cowdenbeath when the beat us 1-0 at Firhill during that terrible Scottish Cup run in the early 90s. A relatively big scalp for Cowden with at least 2 divisions between the sides at the time.

Chachi
Work with nickys brother in law, his boy is indeed on fringes of celtic 1st team. Might get a game once the league is formally wrapped up. A skilful midfielder by all accounts.

A relatively big scalp for Cowden with at least 2 divisions between the sides at the time. I think they were first division at the time. I remember Don McVicar broke their keeper's hand when going for the rebound of the penalty the keeper had saved Henderson had some nice touches but the team were on the slide. Should have had a penalty at Tannadice?
Veejag
One of my first Thistle heroes. Did he break his leg when he was with us?

Collins Out!
We were in the Premier and they were bottom of the first without an away win all season. I remember it was back when you could walk round to the exit on the terrace next to the tunnel and there would always be people giving the team dog's abuse if we lost. The Thistle players were booed off the park that day and the Cowdenbeath players were given polite applause.

That's one game I,ll never forget remember being in the shed that day and we were jokingly cheering them on until they scored, then a chorus of "oh the whistle are shite" rang out! JeredStirlingsrightfoot
A Classic 90's player complete with those nose stickers that helped your breathing, the 90's version of the early 2000's trend of putting Vicks on your shirt to assist your breathing. Dark Passenger
http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/celtic-starlet-liam-henderson-old-3276695 He might even be in line for a start tonight.
partickthedog
Nicky bound to be in the crowd and would be good to have him out for the halftime draw. First win in Save the Jags season was a clever near post header. Scored in 2-0 late season win when we were fighting relegation. Controlled ball with one foot and then shot with the other.
