gerrybritton9
Bought it at the game. Looks great. Bit of an unfortunate picture of Archie. I know he's giving us a wave but it looks like he's making a salute. If you paint a wee moustache on him .........
The Sunnylaw Jag
So has anybody watched it yet?
westertonjagfan
Jeez. Archie looks like one of Mussolini's blackshirts marching on Rome on the front cover.

gerrybritton9
I love it! It's kinda amateurish but has charm. Great to hear from the players and what they thought. Some suggestions for next time: Maybe have a title menu. Maybe have an ending? We might need some music to drown out the Pars fan who shouts at Lawless when he unveils his T shirt "somebody F**ing book him"! Mind you, that might lead to a montage and there are dangers with that (see below) Well worth the wait and superb! Really glad to have it and can't wait to see this season's version
BowenBoys
So has anybody watched it yet? Yes. First, I must say, it's great to have this recording of last season. Some fantastic goals. Brought back many, many happy memories. As well as being a terrific season purely from a football point of view, it was also a time of extraordinary drama. The manager leaving and the coming of Archie. The postponements that led to that young, spirited team playing two games a week seemingly for months while playing catch up with Morton. Being behind at Cowdenbeath at a vital time and being saved by the fog. The late, late comeback at Airdrie. Firhill packed to the rafters on that incredible, tense night. Then after the euphoria of Falkirk, another comeback at home to Dunfermline to preserve Archie's impressive unbeaten run. A narrative woven through the clips would have made a brilliant documentary and brought the season to life again. It really is a good story. As gerrybritton9 has said, it is amateurish. I don't mind paying £10 for it but would have happily paid more for a polished product. One Thistle showed how to edit video very well with Forever And Ever which had tremendous emotional appeal, unlike this DVD. And why did it take so long? Assuming that the highlights of each game were already edited, this could have been put together in a weekend on a MacBook (and with classier captions).
read'n'yell
I don't think the club really wanted to do it, the costs and time for potential returns is probably fairly small. Especially now we're in the premiership. So I think it's just been done to keep the fans happy, hence the amateurish production. But still good to have on record.
