ThickAsThieves
Great win. I don't think we were ever in danger of losing it - St. Johnstone seemed happy to go for a point. Â I thought Pogba started reasonably well but faded last night, to be honest. A number of times in the second half he kept mistiming his jump for high balls, and I was wanting him substituted probably ten minutes before he actually was. I still think he's a better option off the bench. Doesn't seem to have the fitness to last 90 minutes. Â Man of the match contenders: 1) Elliott 2) Nesbitt 3) Seaborne. I also thought Miller had a decent game. Â For large parts of the game I thought Osman looked just a little off the pace but he assisted the first and after that looked very good. Dick Dastardly
I was wanting him substituted probably ten minutes before he actually was. Â Thank god Archie is the manager and not you. I think that he timed the substitution just about perfectly

The Jukebox Rebel
The run from Lawless makes Amoo's goal. Given that it was Stevie that passed the ball to David to begin with as well and his run took him past 3 retreating St.J players so late in the game, it was a tremendous piece of play from Stevie. Hope he's credited with an assist for that one. Absolutely, a gut-busting effort from Stevie that paid off big-time. No doubt at all about the assist; put hims on 4 for the season, now our joint-leading goal maker alongside Banzo.

Jaggernaut
some Doolanology here http://spfl.co.uk/ne...lan--goal-map/? Â A penalty-box striker if ever there was one! lady-isobel-barnett
A penalty-box striker if ever there was one! Â Actually, can anybody remember a Doolan goal that wasn't scored in the penalty box? Â Last kick of the season v QoS about six years ago deep in injury time. Even then I'm not 100% sure it was outside the box.
jagfaelivi
What about the one against Hibs at Easter Road when he ran from the half way line? Forgotten at which point he hit it home.
partickthedog
Definitely a long range strike away at Falkirk, although I would be hard pushed to say which season this was. Have some hazy recollection that he may have missed a penalty in the same game. The goal was in the first half at the opposite end from the Jags fans, whereas the penalty miss was right in front of us.
