There is a couple of questions I would've liked to ask Archie/Gerry. Was this further investment anticipated? If it wasn't anticipated would it have affected a number of younger players being released? Players like McLaughlin, Granger & Lamont. Probably correct. Just a chance tho' they went in a cost cutting exercise or at least there was an element of finance involved in the decision. Lamont for instance was sent out on loan where he did very well and we are dropping down a division where the younger players should in theory have a better chance to be involved.
