shut up mimsy
We have apparently been given permission to sign Peter MacDonald and Martin Hardie from St Johnstone on month long deals.
PaleGreySky
Now to get Danny Lennon out of retirement and sign Derek Fleming from Bo'ness Utd and we can relive the glory days when we had a midfield that knew what they were doing! hamiltonjag
Maybe I'm old fashioned but I can't bring myself to see loan players as "signings"

The Incredible Adam Spark
Heard something similar. McCall recently watched both of them in action (Macdonald scored twice) and McInnes is keen to send both players out on loan.
1 John Lambie
Was actually thinking the other day that Hardie in midfield is exactly what we need just now, even if he is abit past it.
The Incredible Adam Spark
Trying to find out all I can. Both players are out of contract come Christmas.
Members Willjag
Both players have been dogged by injury for some time now. Should fit right in!
lady-isobel-barnett
Month long deals don't sound so good. They'd both need a couple of games to get match fit if all they've been playing is bounce games. Hardie's good for dead balls right enough. 1 John Lambie
What's up with Martin Hardie? And can we really turn our nose up at him for any reason? He's old (not the only one in our squad), his legs are done, but he'll provide much needed height & dig in midfield. What we need at this difficult time, imo, if fit. What we need at this difficult time, imo, if fit. Got to be good news. We ahve no leadership on the park just now and if things go to plan BMMH will fire our imposters up. I definitely think he has good feelings for the Club, its not so long ago the fans were singing "Hardie's a Jags Fan!". Peter McDonald will hopefully get the goals Laim B should be getting. This might be just the lift the team needs to pull ourselves up to 8th place and out the immediate grubber.

Personally I feel that BMMMH will become a born again Dosser while Jackson...I suppose could do a job - but for 4 or 5 games?

northernsoul
I'd love to see BMMMH back in the first team. Passionate player and that's what we need. I agree with the poster above who mentioned match fitness, maybe if they get they games they need and do well we could extend it by a month? That's if this rumour has any substance. Big Col
That's the spirit. In the current climate of keeping money tight, incur additional expense by bringing in two chaps who can't get a game for their own team and are injury prone. Unless we are not paying any percentage of their wages, this is not the right way to go. And what message does it send to the young guys at the club, who McCall claimed were ready for first team action? If this rumour is true, it smacks of desperation from a man close to sinking completely. GTF McCall!

Steven H
You just don't get it, do you? You seem to tho so why not share what's on your mind? When I first read the OP I thought 'oh shut up mimsy' as I dont believe it for a minute. Who gave the permission to sign them? Who provides the money to pay them? If we can really afford to bring in 2 players would these be the types of player we need? And finally....how do we get round the transfer window thingy?
