kni
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/h/hibernian/9057294.stm Jimmy Calderwood will be one of the first available mangers to be linked to the post. Could John Collins return?
lady-isobel-barnett
I see Derek Adams is a 5-1 shot
honved
I see Derek Adams is a 5-1 shot That looks like a good price, given the "Garry Gow effect" that applies in Scottish football. County stuffed Hibs in the home cup tie last season and were unlucky only to get a draw. They played in a Hibs-like manner with pace and flair, so assuming that nobody at Easter Road knows how much of a diddy Derek Adams actually is, that could be a good shout. B.C.G. JAG
They can have Ian McCall.
kni
They can have Ian McCall. But we would have to pay them to take McCall off our hands. I can't see Hibs going for Derek Adams. Bobby Williamson has been linked with Ghana but might prefer to come home.

redandyellowallover
McCall has a 100% success rate in October, what more could they want??
MerryHell
And his team have beaten Adams' team so he's a better manager. Fact!

Pie Of The Month
Could they afford to Poach McInnes? His contract doesn't expire until 2013 so I doubt it.

The Earl of Hathaway
Who cares. Agree, but I can imagine there are a few First Division managers who might be interested. For example, Colin cameron is player/manager at Cowdenbeath so as a Hibee alumni he might be interested. Having said that, Hibs record with revered ex-players as managers hasn't exactly been great. Any bets Gordon Chisholm might pop an application form in the post?

The Earl of Hathaway
or become manager of Cowdenbeath? Is he not player/ assistant manager at Cowden or some such post? And yes....sorrow...sorrow, he is indeed a Hearts legend, not from the other side of town - I must be getting him mixed up with Hibs legend John Robertson

kni
He might be better off waiting for his redundeency. Chisholm may not get any if Dundee goes into administration and he becomes another creditor.
R2D2
If Chizz thinks he has any chance of getting the Hobs job he must be dense. I thought Calderwood would be a stick-on but it seems former player and Shamrock Rovers boss Michael O'Neill is the man they want. Jaggernaut
With Hughes in charge Hibs played 33 competitive games and won less than 10. A total disaster. And yet, who would bet against him getting another manager's job quite soon. I can't think of any other line of work that rewards mediocre and dire records so well. Apart from banking.
