The Earl of Hathaway
Hard not to be after the way the team played last Tuesday and on Saturday. I noticed various players in the red tops today talking about playing with 'swagger' and 'confidence'. If the last 2 results are a result, I'm all for it. 2 - 1 the Jags I think.... RabTheJag
I'm always uneasy when there's this much optimism on here before a big match, because we then usually end up getting beat. When everyone is full of doom and gloom on here and predicting us to lose however, Thistle usually end up surprising us and pulling a result out of the bag. So I say we increase the negativity in the build up to the game tomorrow night. Then we might do the business I'll start the ball rolling I predict an undeserved 2-1 defeat for Thistle after extra time.
yoda-jag
Always wary and worried, I am, when optimistic about the Jags. And optimistic I am for first time in a well over a year about the team and its potential for success and a brighter future under McCall. We'll either lose a scrappy boring tedious game 1-0 with much the same team as Saturday but with an unrecognisable-from-saturday-performance, or pump them 4-0 or thereabouts with another cracking performance. I so want us to GIRFU that odious twerp Pressley. Edited January 17, 2011 by yoda-jag
uberteeb
7/4 for a Jags win in 90 minutes. Thats some come down from the 4/1 that we were at the Grangemouth Stadium last Tuesday, I nipped into a bookies in Falkirk and stuck a score on us to win that night. Would have been a nice little earner. As for tonight, we will absolutely batter them, if we are unlucky we will only win 2-0.

John Blutarsky
odious twerp Pressley. Haha! An apt description that simply couldn't be bettered for accuracy. And funny to boot.

Dick Dastardly
Doom and gloom here. Falkirk on penalties after they get an undeserved late equaliser (possibly as a result of a questionable refereeing decision). McKennan
I'm hopeful we'll hear that big jessie Pressley whine about the state of the pitch and how it impeded the fast-passing, free-flowing football he wants his team to play. Milo
I'm a glass half-full man. So, how about this; Pressley sent to the stand by the ref following his foul-mouthed, tantrum on seeing the Jags score their winning goal! Oh, and it would help if our match-winning goal was really offfside but the ref and linesman don't notice.
Yellow & Redneck
Against my better judgement I'm deciding that I'm going to be optimistic coming into tonight's game. I don't think Falkirk's gubbing at the weekend, nor our victory will have any importance coming into tonight's game. However I'm sure Buchanan's confidence will be sky high as will Fraser's and Campbell's. McCall will need to change his tactics from the last time we played Falkirk in order not to be rumbled by the ever "tactically aware" Steven Pressley. The pitch will be a nightmare to play free-flowing football on the deck, however we don't have the height to play long balls, so in my opinion a stroke of luck could make all the difference tonight. So, I'll probably regret it, but here goes: Jags 1-0 Falkirk, goal coming from Kris Doolan.
McKennan
Thistle players have the unerring knack of over-hitting long passes. The muddy pitch will take the bounce out of the ball, which will be a big help.
Blackpool Jags
I can't help erring on the side of caution for this one. How many times have we been up for a big game only to fall short of our own expectations? Therefore, I cautiously predict that we'll F8cken murder that shower of Pressleyite pish! Intae thum Thistle! lady-isobel-barnett
I'd love to hear Mr Pressley whining on about the state of the pitch. The same Mr Pressley that recently wanted to play on a pitch deemed too dangerous by the match ref.
Allan Heron
As long as we beat them in the regulation 90 minutes.

GrantB
I feel overwhelmingly positive about our chances this evening. I'm gutted I won't be at the game cheering us on.
kni
Preview - http://ptfc.co.uk/matches/seasons/2010-2011/matches/1801_falkirk/preview “Jackie McNamara, Martin Grehan and Conrad Balatoni will all miss out but Simon Donnelly is added to the squad.” I hope we keep the same starting eleven with Kinniburgh and Donnelly on the bench to replace Cairney and Grehan. stillresigned
I'm relatively confident about the game tonight, saying that I would be equally unsurprised if we got pumped 3-0 or won 3-0! I mean when did form ever have amything to do with Thistle; still a wee cup run would be allright even if we do have a poxy draw.
