TASHBOY
Please please please Archie/shaggy if your reading this we want Archie playing next sat so the fans can show how much we love him
ThickAsThieves
Doubt it'll happen. Â We don't need him on the pitch to show him anyway. Â Now that the league title's been won, I'd like to see McGuigan start the last two matches.
read'n'yell
Archie should be playing McMillan in the next two games to see what he has to offer. Was Dunfermlines captain so surely will be good (certainly looked good at Raith when he came on). Â Also wouldn't mind giving Elliot a full game to see what he can do, hard to really judge a player when they always come on against tired defences. lady-isobel-barnett
Thought earlier that it may be better to leave both Dowie and McMillan out next Saturday. They're both true professionals so there's no worry that they wouldn't do their utmost for us but at the same time there's nothing these guys need to prove to us regarding re-signings. On reflection tho' the worst we can do to their old club is point them in the direction of the play offs. Even so just maybe Archie will select himself and leave Dowie and McMillan on the bench. Dug1e
think Elliot will play as I think we have seen the last of Erskine.
The Earl of Hathaway
Bring Shaggy on for the last 2 minutes. Please...
Zaphod Beeblebrox
think Elliot will play as I think we have seen the last of Erskine. Â Yeah think erskine may have kicked his last ball for thistle. Probably why he has been dying to score in the last few games! If the league was still on the line he would play! Â Elliot will start I reckon and maybe some of the youth players getting the bench.
jagfox
Paton and Erskine are under contract until the end of May so Archie will decide if they play or not. If we are paying their wages I would expect them to continue to give 100%.
Mr Bunny
Think considering the occasion that Archie will play the likes of Erskine, Craig and maybe even give Paton a cameo if possible. However that could be done by starting them and subbing them early or just bringing them on towards the end of the game to get the plaudits of the fans. Â Otherwise the likes of Elliot and McGuigan can play - and maybe another youngster? LIndsay or Sekhon? Jamie Campbell?
marco77
Would like to see a few of the fringe players get a run out but beating Ross Countys points total would also be good.
partickthedog
Would like to see a few of the fringe players get a run out but beating Ross Countys points total would also be good. Â Archie will be mindful of the "integrity" issue. While there could be no objection to a few changes, he has to be fair to Dumbarton and Cowdenbeath by playing something reasonably resembling a full-strength first team against Dunfermline. The same issue may or may not apply the weekend after, depending on whether or not Dumbarton are safe.
Lindau
Think we should definitely give McGuigan a start for the next two games along with McMillan and Elliot. Really cant see Craig getting contract and there is still a chance that Dools might go....now the pressure is off we need to see what McGuigan can do
Maestro
Good shout on McGuigan the big mans waited all season for his chance I know the leagues won but we still want to win our remaining games so let's see what he can offer
Auld Yin
This squad of guys are all desperate to play on Saturday. None of them want to be left out on the day we lift the league trophy. So personally don't think any of the reserves will be anywhere near the bench. Erskine will play some part in the game, to say farewell at home. Jaggernaut
Same squad as Saturday then? If Welsh is fit will he be included?
