The big man was a stand out by a country mile and bossed that midfield from start to finish. He was everywhere all afternoon n seemed to pop up every time with a crunching but fair tackle. Didn't give Lesley n brown a minutes peace all afternoon. That's two weeks on the trot he's carried a yellow from early in the game and hasn't let it effect him. Looks like he reads the game very well. Thundered into tackles and gave a really good account of himself. Nothing silly, doesn't appear to get involved in niggle and a 100% honest performer. A pleasure to watch in a Jags strip. Doubt we#ll be able to hang on to him come the New Year. So we'll just have to enjoy him while we've got him.Afraid, its just the way things are for a wee club like ours. Still can’t believe Archie did not play him at the Aberdeen home game but every manager makes mistakes! Osbourne is better than Paton, I think most would agree. Higginbotham better than Erskine? Hmmmm.... I'd have Chris back but....
