mgow
If this is true, it is fantastic news for Scott Fox and great news for Thistle. However, I can imagine that in places like Aberdeen it will appear like a cynical move to put a few thousand on the crowd by appeasing a big Glasgow team. ;-)
Jaggernaut
Well done Scott Fox! Scotland's No. 1. (even if he disnae get a game)!
Ancipital
Confirmed. He's unlikely to play I'd think but still good for him to be involved. No pressure tonight, Foxy...
cleveland steamer
It's amazing what making a couple of saves against Celtic can get you! Should be a great experience for him, and bump up his value a but for us!
chunky jag
Good on him, great story for a guy who was on the scrap heap 4 years ago after administration and retiring from the game to get away from celtic. Surely sincy must be next, best left back in scotland this season.

Guy Incognito
Good to see 'Partick Thistle' mentioned in a full Scotland squad. SFA Website When was the last time? Funnily enough, Kenny Arthur back in 2003. Chuffed to bits for Foxy. Here's hoping he marks this moment with a clean sheet against the mutton molesters tonight.
stillresigned
Its really great to see Foxxy being rewarded for his hard graft. Still like others I have genuine concerns about his ability to command his area. I/'m sure Scott doesn't need the wisdom of the St. Charles Primay school goalkeeoer (1974-76) to point out his areas of weekness...lol! The Earl of Hathaway
Ah just when you think they've got a handle on our players, the good old Beeb do this: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/scotland/24809942?

kni
Great news especially after seeing this. "CAMMY BELL believes his Scotland chances have been boosted by dropping down two divisions to sign for Rangers. Now he wants proof positive – in the shape of a Scotland call-up for next month’s friendlies against USA and Norway. The keeper was part of the international squad while at Kilmarnock, but hasn’t featured under Gordon Strachan since his move to Ibrox. However, with Allan McGregor injured for the November games and Strachan on the lookout for back-up to David Marshall and Matt Gilks, Bell is hopeful he’s back on the radar." Jaggernaut
Can,t seem to get that full interview. Only saw half before streaming stopped. What is it that the BEEB say that is shocking? "Jamie Fox." And it gets repeated. Ha! I see they've finally corrected it. JeanieD
As regards the goalkeeper currently playing for The Rangers XI in the 3rd tier of Scottish football - it is to the credit of outfield players of The Rangers XI that he has had so little to do, however, this lack of activity perhaps would indicate that he is currently untested at a higher level so it would be inadvisable for him to play on the international stage. He made the conscious decision to move from a long established top division team to drop down to a lower league and a new much younger club - albeit being paid wages far in excess than would perhaps seem to be prudent, so perhaps he will require to wait until he is fully tested at a higher level before being chosen as a Scotland substitute. AlgarveJag
Well done Scott! I knew we'd signed the next great Scotland keeper when you arrived from Dundee. You've got the right attitude and deserve all of the recognition that you are getting. Congratulations and enjoy your time with the Scotland team. ClydebankJag
Think Roughie. Who was refused permission to speak to any other clubs due to the way football contracts worked in the 1970s/1980s. It's very different now.
