Andynptfc
Fast on the way to becoming my favourite thistle player in my lifetime! At only 20 odd years old that's not exactly a bold claim, but I couldn't really think of a more deserving player of a big testimonial, exactly what the jags are all about! Hard working, professional, capable of the odd bit of genius and just an all round excellent guy! I love him!
Jaggernaut
Fantastic news. A true Thistle legend by this time next year.
The Cup
An interesting bit about the Premiership strikers from the STV. Doolan's goals per game ratio not including penalties, which he doesn't take, is better than Stevie May and Billy MacKay. http://sport.stv.tv/football/clubs/motherwell/276094-stats-zone-who-were-the-top-strikers-in-the-scottish-premiership-in-1314/? Norgethistle
Dools has been a fantastic player and proper professional, to come from the juniors to holding his own in the Premiership in such a short time has been excellent, plus knuckling down when out in loan to make himself a better player. Hope he stays for years
digger
Terrific news, Dools is a credit to his family. Genuine guy who always has the time for a chat, humble, hardworking and a real passion for our club. Thanks Dools you are a legend in the making. lady-isobel-barnett
As one who likes to balance a player with positives and negatives I really struggle to come up with a single negative about Kris. The only minus point I've ever been able to come up with is he's maybe guilty of doing too much work. Other strikers often deliberately drift in and out a game so they can sneak in unnoticed now and again. That I've got to say is one pitiful excuse for a negative.. ThickAsThieves
I'd say sometimes he does have the odd anonymous match, but they're few and far between. Seems to do better away from home. Great striker and glad we have him in - hopefully we can get Taylor in or someone of that ilk to challenge him again next season.
Garscube Road End
He will be talked about by Jags fans for years after we have cheered our last cheer for Jags. Brilliant player.

Rid Skwerr
If only Gareth Bale had Dools' first touch ........:-) Really pleased that Kris has signed on again. Might even buy my season tickets now!
The Earl of Hathaway
Great news. Gives it everything when he's on the pitch and you just wait for the moment when he's in the six yard box. Doool-an! Doool-an!
partickthedog
Question, does anyone have a better first touch in the SPFL? In the last home game v St Mirren it looked like Dools had Velcro boots! Agree totally. Good first touch usually means the light carress to keep the ball close, but Dools is so skilful he can also do the deliberately heavy touch to wrongfoot the defence. Look again (using Yellow & Red Neck's brilliant compilation) at the first goal away to Inverness and the home goal against Celtic, where the first touch takes all the defenders out of the game and gives the opportunity to beat the keeper as well. Sometimes quality goals in games we lose can be easily forgotten. Every time I see the first goal in the home match against Hearts, it gets better and better.
