stillresigned
I'll definitely be muting my volume tomorrow night the thought of listening to those two tw*ts Tillsley and Townsend commentating on Engerlund, not to mention the intellectual heavyweight Chiles is hardly an enticing prospect . Duck snort
Danny Murphy is a breath of fresh air. Tactically astute, not stating the obvious like so many of them. A huge step up from Lawrensen's tired old routine. Hope the BBC use him more often.

Diego
I don't want to be pedantic, or defend Mr Bloom, but infact the "official FIFA names" for these countries is JAPAN, ITALY, GERMANY and FRANCE, which is why the TV feed has the 3 letter abreviation of JPN, ITA, GER and FRA in the top left corner. Ivory Coast has CIV. Whilst ITV went out of their way to refer to the Ivory Coast as Cote d'Ivoire, the Netherlands are frequently being referred to as Holland. An offence as egregious as saying "England" instead of "The UK".
peagreenboy
Has Alan Hansen been doing any punditry at the World Cup before today? I think someone mistook him for fine Corinthian luggage and he's been stuck on one of Rio International Airport's baggage carousels for the previous week. angry gaz
Glenda and Dicko seem to be blaming the defeat on the opposition playing Swarez. How dare they play their best player. Have you ever seen an International team cross the ball worse than England? (except Scotland with Pat Nevin)
peagreenboy
At half time - "[cheating like Uruguay] just isn't in England's DNA" Second half - after a non-challenge, Sturridge throws himself down like the dying swan to look for a penalty ... just like Welbeck did in the first game.
stillresigned
Goodness, does it ever occur to the English.thAt they continually get beaten in competitor isn't down to bad luck, frankly it's because their simply not that good. BowenBoys
Tonight Radio 5 is at it's very best. The way they turn on their team is a joy to hear. When will the English media ever learn that they are greatly responsible for that nations unrealistic expectations.
macjag
The best one was when sterling hit the guys head with his knee and tyldesly wanted a penalty.
BowenBoys
England's attempts to cheat in the penalty box in the first two games have been poor. They need to work on that along with attacking and defending.

Mr Bunny
The really funny thing about this is that it's possible Italy could go out too. Listening to Robbie Savage makes my ears bleed.
BowenBoys
Alan Green on Radio 5 tonight (on Uruguay's second goal): "I'm disappointed in Cahill and Jagielka for not being closer to Suarez and pushing him over. A free kick and no harm done." That from a Northern Irishman who doesn't support his own country. Glory hunter, cheat and loser.
