  1. We can see them sneaking in, We can see them sneaking in..........
  2. To save any bother what should have happened would have been to let Celtic have the whole ground and give us the Canal bank to stand, sure its a restricted view but at the end of the day its all money in the bank........
  3. Sad, Showed a commitment that others just talk about. condolences to the family, God Bless.
  4. To be a success in management you must first have a grasp on man-management, the clue is in the title. sadly for everyone it was glaringly obvious this was not his strong point. He might have loads of contacts in the game, went round different clubs watching other coaching methods and even spoken to Alex Ferguson. his failure was not to get the players on board with his plan for the future. The way Doolan was treated in his testimonial year was Caldwell's end. The only way to come out of that shambles with any sort of credibility was skoosh teams away with barrowloads of goals..........yep. not a huge success. Gary might at the very least claim to have kept us up, I would suggest perhaps it was Scott MacDonald who saved us last season, without doubt Caldwell's best signing.......................apart from the wee boy from Falkirk.
  5. Scottish football is basically Juniors in a fancy park. High ball into their box, get 2 perhaps 3 goals up THEN start playing passing football. Once we find this isn't working, back to the high ball..............Simples
  6. Closest we`ve got to Lambie. happy days
  7. God bless. thoughts and prayers with the family...........
  8. Basically No man management skills. Might know drills and patterns, but the greatest skill is how to man manage. Sad for the boy, if only we had been as quick with the previous Phanny. Lambie's deid and we`re in bother. Only one man left to save us now..................................Oh Jackie McNamara........
  9. He wears Number 9 He's aged 39 For the Shi#e league we're in He's still in his prime
  10. A Lambie style signing............an old experienced pro who's been over the course and knows what's expected. Keep us up and lets go next season. Welcome Scott
  11. Brave............I remember when Tommy Doc pumped the Lawman, funny thing was united went down. This is now the time for Caldwell to show his metal and the way ahead. Jackie McNamara built us a team where at the very first kick you could see we were going places. Archibald destroyed what Jackie Mac built and left us with a team of haddies. Good luck from now because you aint got a lot of allies left, take solace in Tommy Docherty is still loved at Man Utd........
  12. Don't get me wrong, I like Dools, but he typifies Scottish football. Dools is a very good junior, and this is where Scottish football is just now, and sadly Dools is one of our better players. I feel Doolan would suit a 4-4-2 system or what ever type a combination so long as he has support in the box. To save our butt just now we need to sign an experienced goal scorer, someone to play along side Dools. We try ever so hard to play the passing game but just don't have the skill or talent, remember a back pass does not count. Doolan has to much responsibility to lead the attack, by the end of January, hopefully Caldwell may see this as an issue.
  13. Its hard to pass judgement as he's had to deal with all the Assh*l*s that the last clown signed. Only thistle would trawl the depths and find another Archibald. Archibald without any shadow of a doubt should have been shown the door after the Livingston game. We are here BECAUSE of Archibald, a blind man could see this coming. If Caldwell turns into another Archibald then he should be stoned and hit with big sticks, as should anyone who ever speaks the name of Archibald again. On a lighter note...................................................
  14. What would Lambie Doo. First bring in experienced Pros who have been over the course, shore up the defence, cut out the pointless passing, get the ball in the box and score goals, bin Bannigan, the minute he had his agent trying to get a new club would have been the last time he would have worn the shirt. We know its going to be tough, its not the time to play attractive, its a time to dig in, find players with hair on their balls and fight..............
  15. Just before Mutuombo got subbed the man he should have been marking on the JHS side was given that much time on the ball he had that many options open to do anything it was freighting. It was that bad if it wasn't for my devout Christian upbringing a curse or two may have inadvertently crossed my lips, It was so bad our twelfth man with the flag was even shouting at him to get a tackle in.................Another one of Archibald's ar*sholes that can get binned..........
