Pinhead
league table looks ropey, we have to hope for a st mirren win against well midweek
banderas
definitely a good point , but the RC and M'well results I think puts us in a scrap for the play off place.
Mr Bunny
Good point but sounds like it could have been 3! 3 would have been ideal but the point means Motherwell have to win 3 while we lose 3 in order to overtake us. Unfortunately they play St Mirren next.. I only hope the Buddies realise that is their last chance and go all out to beat them. Of course the key match for us is when we play Motherwell next week. One interesting thing is with all the clubs below them getting something and them getting beat - Kilmarnock could be dragged into the "play-off-position" battle too. billko
Decent result for Thistle but you need to take the chances and naybe should have been 3pts Having said that Thistle have come on really well of late and thankfully that injury time goal against Thistle you come to expect didn't materialise. When you say they should have one at Pittodrie it shows the progress this side have made. Edited April 4, 2015 by billko

Richard Nixon
Keep up the moaning that we didn't take all three, though! There's standards to be kept on this forum!
Duke Gekantawa
Three clean sheets on the trot, 1 goal conceded in 5. We just need to keep doing what we're doing
thebiglemon
Well done Jags, sounds like a great effort. Doubled Motherwell and Ross County with Chorley ( a crazy 21/10 ) Chorley won 4-3 So some good came of these 2 bad results for us - had a real feeling one of those two would win, shame it was both
Guy Incognito
Decent result but could have been much better, by the sounds of it. Shame the other results didn't go our way either.

A win next Saturday and we'll definitely be OK regardless of what happens at Celtic

Jag
Great point Jags. If we concentrate on our own results we needn't worry about others. Four clean sheets in last five games is a great statistic. Will give confidence going in to game on Wednesday and who knows what could happen? Next Saturday is the big one. Win that and we will be safe. Also, remember Motherwell result today means we are three points off Kilmarnock with better goal difference. Certainly no doom and gloom from me tonight!! chunky jag
Really good result n great run of clean sheets. But still much work to be done, county n mwell in great form we need 2 more wins
Fawlty Towers
A good result for us, we cannot control what others do but if we continue playing the way we have been we should be fine. Lets hope for a big push from the club to maximise the crowd for what will be a big game next week against Motherwell.

Woodstock Jag
Initial thoughts: 1. Pittodrie pies aren't as good as Firhill pies 2. Total failure to open up enough food kiosks in the away end 3. Taylor's miss in the first half was absolutely criminal 4. Point the least we deserved, but given other results today a bit of a disappointment 5. Great performance, with Craigen having a really good game 6. Banzo's booking was really silly and unnecessary 7. Clancey is a bit of a clown.
JeanieD
Good point today but if Motherwell win both games this week St. Mirren (H - probable), and at Firhill (possible) then the gap to 11th will be 1 point - assuming we get nothing v. Glasgow C. Ross have both Saints (J - home M - away) and given current form will almost certainly get 6 points. Stating the obvious but next Saturday is massive. Elginjag
Good point, but typical other results wernt good for us, still, good team performance Banzo n Craigen really good, Taylor made a big difference ond worried tge shit outa their centre backs, coulda, n shoulda sneaked it with Taylor's two chances. Onwards n upwards, good time to hit good form and a bit of consistency. All the boys were fighting for it today, more of that, we'll be fine. Lindau
A good result for us, we cannot control what others do but if we continue playing the way we have been we should be fine. Lets hope for a big push from the club to maximise the crowd for what will be a big game next week against Motherwell. Let's try and get as many up to Firhill as possible next week. Could be a massive game if results go the way they are expected to go in midweek. A win versus Motherwell would just about see us safe no matter what happens in midweek. Bleeding Gums Murphy
Would've bitten your hand off for a point pre match but gutted we didn't come away with all 3. Positives: Starting 11 consistency Clean Sheet Point nearer to safety/Killie James Craigen
Albert's Ghost
Point nearer to safety/Killie I think it's time Killie were included in all this analysis. I confidently predicted they'd lose their last two games, and lo it came to pass. Now they have Aberdeen (h) & Celtic (a) before the split. If we beat Motherwell (by no means guaranteed) we'll be above them at the split (albeit on GD, assuming Celtic beat us too). Game on!
