jaunty jag
Just received a note saying I can buy tickets for the two freindlies for 5 quid each, as I am a season ticket holder ......... I thought these were included in the season ticket ?
falklandal1
Don't think Friendlies have been included in recent times,£5.00 a game is pretty fair, plus entry to the Open day.
Lenziejag
I am guessing it is a discounted price ?
Pinhead
It was always free but the club seem intent on getting as much money as possible these days
lady-isobel-barnett
Hadn't given it any thought to be honest but I'm fairly sure ST holders haven't been charged for home friendlies in recent seasons. Think tho' as long as there's a differential in price in favour of ST holders then charging could be seen as inconsequential. Put another way should you want to see the home friendlies the benefit of being a ST holder still remains. My own view is that those who have purchased a season ticket are being punished because of the poor overall sales. The Club in turn feel forced into charging ST holders. Had ST sales been rosy I doubt the Club would've bothered charging. Anyway that's the way it is and in my mind pretty insignificant compared to the what I believe the far bigger issue of why Jags fans won't commit to their club on a relative basis to fans of similar sized clubs.
Lenziejag
It has been a few years since we had home preseason matches, certainly not since we came up. The last time was the ARR Craib trophy - was that the season we got promoted or the one prior to that ? Fuzzy memory.

ClydebankJag
Sunderland last season was free to season ticket holders http://ptfc.co.uk/teams/senior/seasons/2014-2015/fixtures_results/0608_sunderland_xi/admission
ClydebankJag
But we were charged for Limassol http://ptfc.co.uk/teams/senior/seasons/2013-2014/fixtures_results/2707_ael_limassol/preview
Sinistar
A freebie would have been nice but to be fair, and I have no real clue about these things, I would imagine there are a number of costs attached to opening up the ground, stewards, police etc so a small cover charge seems fair enough. westertonjagfan
Have to say, I'm quite happy paying a fiver.
La Scimmia Rossa
Fiver seems decent to me.
Sinistar
Just tried to top up season tickets with the Wigan friendly using the online ticket system but I wish I hadn't, total hassle. Prompts you for credit card details to add a free kids ticket and doesn't like it when price comes to zero so won't let you proceed. Tried an alternative way, buying kids ticket using my account via people in your household, but son's season ticket comes up as an OAP season ticket and wants a fiver for it. Anyway now given up, ticket queue for me tomorrow. Hope they have tix at North Stand entrance and we don't have to walk round to JHS. Third Lanark
If you have a season ticket for tomorrow night have you got to order your ticket in advance or can you just show it at the gate and get in for payment of £5?
ian_mac
I would imagine that Wigan were due some sort of fee as well for providing opposition.

Well I hope if that's correct that it wasn't much. If you average out the charge to say £8 pp take off VAT, we'd have collected about £8500 before deducting stewarding and other matchday expenses.
