angry gaz
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39621636 Dundee taking a big chance there. Not a lot of games left. Would love a Dundee derby play off
lady-isobel-barnett
That's cheered me up no end. Detestable little man. Probably be Morton's next manager (got all the credentials) on his way back down the leagues.
dougie247
Had a quick look at their forum and surprised to see a couple of them mentioning Archie or Paterson.. Must be nuts if they think either would jump ship. Edited April 17, 2017 by dougie247

JeanieD
They could do worse than seeking out Alex Neill - although I suspect he might not be particularly keen.
Lindau
They could do worse than seeking out Alex Neill - although I suspect he might not be particularly keen. Would imagine after managing in the EPL and EC, the thought of possibly managing in SPFL Championship might not be too attractive for him. jaggybunnet
He's unemployed. With a reported £2 mil pay off, i would be on a long long holiday.
Caramaca
Would be surprised if it's anywhere near 2 mill
lady-isobel-barnett
Would be surprised if it's anywhere near 2 mill That's maybe what was on his contract. But you'll likely be right. Sacked managers rarely get their full contract paid up as it'll be dependent in some degree on performance. He'll still have done alright for himself and I wouldn't think Neil's CV will be arriving at Dens in the first postbag. That'll be filled with applications from the usual suspects. Unless Neil's desperate to return to Scotland you would imagine that vacancies further down the leagues in England would be more lucrative and he'd be successful in getting a position. Garscube Road End
Neil McCann to be interim boss. Ooft!
Lambies Lost Doo
I was impressed with Hartley. Even something like players warming up before 2nd half. Last season they ripped us and Liam Lindsay a new one then lost Hemmings, Stewart and Harkins. Close to 30 goals. A club that is constantly run badly no matter who is in charge.
ian_mac
Given the position they are in I am staggered they've went for a rookie like McCann. When a sacking like this happens it's usually because they have an experienced manager lined up. 11th in the table, 5 games to go - personally I would rather have taken my chances with Hartley. Paddy Thistle
I agree Ian , I would have given Hartley the chance , he was after all Manager of the month a couple of months ago , this is now something like 7 managers in 5 years they have gone through

partickthedog
Paul Hartley might fancy his chances as a Member of Parliament. I am sure both George Galloway and Winston Churchill launched their political careers in Dundee. Nothing to do with anything, but I have just realised that the last two named could be referred to as Cat and Dog!!
Dark Passenger
Last season they ripped us and Liam Lindsay a new one then lost Hemmings, Stewart and Harkins. Close to 30 goals. On one occasion. And that fearsome Dundee forward line managed an impressive eighth in the table. Hartley is a dud. And a rat.
