kni
Or a 9 pointer. Got to admit I am too a bit worried about the attendance this saturday now going down considerably I more worried that Bannigan and Welsh won't be fit for this huge game. briogadh
We owe them a Scottish Cup defeat, big style! We beat them in the Cup at Firhill quite recently, with two goasls from Liam Buchanan in the last 20 minutes before going on to the famous match at Ibrox.. little_miss_jag
Morton got an easy draw. Morton need to beat Albion Rovers in a replay 1st.

That's right, but I still want revenge from the defeat at EEP a few years back.
G SUS
Or a 9 pointer. Got to admit I am too a bit worried about the attendance this saturday now going down considerably Why? It is two different competitions. Fans will be more likely to miss the cup game.
One t in Scotland
Or a 9 pointer. Got to admit I am too a bit worried about the attendance this saturday now going down considerably You'll need to explain your logic there. 'Aye I'll give Saturday a miss so I can watch the same teams in the same venue 3 weeks later in a less important game'
milhouse
Usual terrible draw for Thistle. Been a recurring theme for a decade
Duck snort
Thistle get a 1st division opponent in the cup, what a surprise! Bet it's a draw so we end up playing them 6 times this season. Yawn.
partickthedog
Quite a few all SPL ties which means that if we do get through there is a reasonable chance of a favourable draw to catapult us into the later stages of the tournament. Jaggernaut
"Interesting" to see the wee teams getting huge pay-offs against the ugly sisters, and we're somehow avoiding those two again!
The Earl of Hathaway
It used to be Hearts or Airdrie, now it's Falkirk or Dunfermline (usually). Who'd have thought that QotS last year was a breath of fresh air?
peagreenboy
"Interesting" to see the wee teams getting huge pay-offs against the ugly sisters, and we're somehow avoiding those two again! Is it a huge conspiracy against us, to bore Jags fans to death by playing the same team into infinity? Someone really dislikes Thistle! What is logic that is something I know nothing of
G SUS
If PTFC progress in the Scottish Cup and draw Morton/Falkirk/Airdrie/Livingston/Dumbarton we'll have played cup ties against more than 50% of our first division opponents. Mediocre Pundit
Well, as I'm gutted to be missing Saturday's game anyway at least I have the consolation of being able to go along to this one. On a positive note, this isn't as bad as the usual divisional cup ties - we're both pushing for the league so there should be more bite to this one than usual. Also, in advance of the January transfer window this is a vital game - the winner might get a money-spinning draw and we each have the chance to deny that from the other. This is another vital game. MWM
Can't see there being much interest in this tie tbh. Don't even know if I'll be arsed going myself.
