Big Dave
So I couldn't go today, one of only 3 games I've missed this season!! In my 40th year of following the Jags and I still haven't seen us win at bloody Tannadice!! Which made me wonder in my 40 years where else am I still awaiting a Jags win on my travels. So as far as I can recall I have never seen us win at- Dundee Utd Aberdeen Queen of the South Stenhousemuir Elgin City Albion Rovers (saw the 11-1 win at Fir Park) (remember the 5-4 loss shambles?!!!) East Fife (I think) East Stirling. So in 40 years I've still to see us win at 19% of all 42 grounds. The QOS one amazes me as I've been there loads but I think it's always been draws or losses. When Dools scored on his debut, did we win that one? Can't remember at all. How do the rest of you on here compare?
ClydebankJag
If you're counting grounds, rather than teams, then East Stirling & Stenny is just one ground. Oh and I've seen us win at both Ochilview and Firs Park. Edited February 28, 2015 by ClydebankJag
read'n'yell
I know we've never (in recent history at least) played away to Elgin. Makes me think if we ever drew them in the cup, we would get an above normal crowd considering the distance. A lot of people will want to tick that off their list. Tom Stronach
Tannadice East End Park Sports Direct Arena Savile Row Ochilview Starks Park Gayfield Falkirk Stadium Dumbarton's ground I haven't seen us win at Rugby Park since it was turned into Legoland. I was there when we beat them 2-1 when Roddy Grant and Albert Craig scored at the old Rugby Park. BowenBoys
Off topic, I know, but does anybody have a clearer memory of a 3-2 win against 'Well at Fir Park a few years ago? We were 2-0 down and in danger of relegation. The result left them in trouble too. One of our goals was an overhead kick? from a corner? Would be obliged if someone could fill in the blanks. Albert's Ghost
I was there! McGlashan scored the winner, got to an aerial through ball before their giant Dutch goalie (name?) and flicked it into the empty net. We were great that day, 0-2 at half-time was a travesty. I've never seen us lose there (2 wins, 2 draws).
BowenBoys
The misery of sitting there at 0-2 as they sang 'Going down, going down, going down' The joy of returning the favour at 3-2.
Tom Hosie
Haven't seen us win at Ibrox. Missed the last win there in 1981(?) I never saw us win at Broomfield despite twice being 2-0 up. I missed our final win there (early 80s would you believe) because I went to see Rocky 3 at the cinema. A mistake I have regretted ever since. Good film though - well my 14 year old self thought so.

lady-isobel-barnett
I've not seen us win at Tannadice since the 70s. I think the only one of the ten other grounds currently in the top flight I've not seen us win at is McDiarmid Pk.
Big Dave
Dool's debut was 0-0 draw with St Johnstone at home? Maybe. His first goal was at QOS, but I can't remember if we won that day.

partickthedog
Dool's debut was 0-0 draw with St Johnstone at home? Dools debut definitely off the bench in away cup tie v Inverness (3-0 loss)
partickthedog
Maybe. His first goal was at QOS, but I can't remember if we won that day. Fairly sure it was a score draw 2-2 or 3-3?

One of my Thistle highlights of the last 10 years or so. Awesome turnout of Jags fans that night. Gray's goal was outstanding. I had the scoreboard "0-1" as my phone's background pic and the radio commentators " Rangers nil- Partick Thistle one!" audio clip as my text message alarm for about 3 years after it!. Nothin tops beating O.F.F.C away. I remember, taking 3 english pals ( West Ham, Liverpool & Chester all former season ticket holders) to parkhead for the 1-1 (tommy Smith 2!) game '94. Said they'd never seen a goal celebrated like that in their lives! Bring on the sevco... preferably away!
cjptfc
Here's the 3-2 win at. Fir Park. Only goal I remembered clearly before watching the video was big Willie's winner. For some reason the view of the goal from the opposite end of the ground stuck in my memory. Some support we had there that day as well. Not only do I remember an overhead kick but I also thought we played in the red and yellow and all the goals were at our end. Frightening! I remembered the ball to McGlashan being straight, and it being the winner. Still it was a long time ago, and many brain cells have been flushed away since then!
