jags on tour
They'll probably have liquidated and gone back to the third division in 4-5 years, Thistle will be Champions league winners by then so he'll be a glory seeking Jags fan! allyo
Congratulations. You have a massive responsibility. The boy has a chance, he is an innocent child, but it's all on you.

sandbank boy
what is your daughters team? Stand firm and be determined justice will win through I'm afraid she doesn't have a team, although she was taken to Firhill to try to get the Jags into her blood. Overall she doesn't have much time for footballer/s, hence my worry !!
crazy davie
I fear the worst. I had to fight for my boy against the in-laws who all wanted him to be a H*n. I wasn't having it and I'm proud to say he's now a Jags fanatic. Goes to all the games - home and away. However, I think it's easier as a dad than a granddad to get the right outcome. Norgethistle
You mean you've not already bought the kid both kits, a Kingsley a scarf, hat and painted the nursery red yellow and back. Try those well known lullabies when your babysitting "by the lights of the silvery moon" "Their a well know Glasgow football team" " Red n Yella a army " "over land and see" etc

Won't be the case at Ibrox where prices will go up year on year to try and match the unrealistic ambitions of that club

Shuggie
Two brothers are die hard blue. I pray to a god that doesn't exist to make their days as pain free as possible and i thank him/her/it for giving me enough brain cells (barely) to go down a different path. Show the kid that you are a class act and they will follow the red and yellow brick road forever.
Third Lanark
Like most old firm fans they don't look at other Scottish clubs, hence the Jags don't really figure. but if you support them does that not make a difference? What do you think they would say if you said you wanted the grandson to support the jags?
Norgethistle
In a couple of years offer to have the grandson for a few hours on a Saturday afternoon to give them a wee break..... Off to Firhill you go, kids go free, player zone, Kingsley, wee scarf and the kid starts his journey as a jag
Weebaw1
Don't let him anywhere near Ibrox. He'll end up like them. Bigots!

allyo
Yeah okay, I get this. So teach him to be a good human being, to be free thinking and independent. Teach him of compassion and humilty. The importance of respect, tolerance, equality, dignity in adversity. Teach him to read. To speak in sentences. To lift his knuckes above his knees. The rest should take care of itself.
