allyo
I think that when you consider there are three teams who have mostly finished below us for the past few seasons, are now led by guys who've previously managed at the very top level, you can see that Thistle's task has got harder this year. It is harder, but the Rangers game aside our results compare favourably with everybody else in bottom 8 over the last 5 or 6 games. Only Hamilton have picked up more points than us over that period
Third Lanark
Interesting that our next 3 fixtures are against the teams we have put the worst performances against Hibs Killie and Motherwell

Only Hamilton have picked up more points than us over that period Yeh sevco aside winning at home and drawing away of late has been fine. It's the surprise results amongst our rivals that have gone against us. That result today is most welcome as Aberdeen don't look comfortable on plastic.
Fearchar
Harsh to say Christie and Booth are injury prone, both have bad injuries granted but disagree that either is injury prone. It's not so much the initial injuries that are a worry, as that whoever is injured seems to pick up more injuries afterwards. That suggests that the treatment, despite frequent praise from the players affected, is not doing what it should be. Maybe bedside manner isn't such a useful indication of skill, and it's time for a second, medical, opinion on treatment. (Doolan was given an icepack after coming off the pitch, although he said he was not in pain. Was there any swelling? If not, an icepack could only do harm.) partickthedog
Good to see Steven O'Donnell scoring an own goal for Aberdeen to help us out. Once a Jag...

CotterJag
Great period for us coming up where we can cement our place in the top league. I think we'll do just that. Not too far away in recent performances from turning on the style again. A wee bit of confidence goes a long way.
partickthedog
Thought it was Broadfoot I was listening on the car radio and the immediate indication was that the shot or header from May hit Broadfoot first and then bounced off O'Donnell and therefore was technically an O'Donnell own goal. I have not seen it and it may be that the received wisdom has since been updated. However, it looks like Steven at least made sure that the ball went into the net!! allyo
Steve Clarke interview after the game today was the kind of thing opposition fans love to hear. Sounded like he'd lost the plot. Encouraging.
