thistle4celtic1
I think he kicked the ball once and as usual it was back towards his own goal. Not defending Cargill's terrible mistake on the 2nd goal but Osman the human pylon should never have put him in that spot in the first place. Get Osman off...he offers nothing to this team. Barney Rubble
The Kyle of Laffable managing to provide some light relief to soothe the gloom for a few seconds at least.
Fearchar
3-0 before the halftime whistle. This is a rout. Oh well, we won't hear more about season ticket prices rising if we're going to the Championship. :-/
eljaggo
It must really piss players off to put in a good performance and then be dropped to the bench (McCarthy for one) especially when their replacement has had a shocker in their last game. Consistent selection is an Archibald weakness.

Consistent selection is an Archibald weakness. Even worse: it undermines team morale, which builds in a habit of inconsistency. We saw it when the Bunnet's regime collapsed, and we're seeing it now again. :'-(
Barney Rubble
Since the break and the long anticipated return of most of the invalids our league record is W1 D2 L5 (assuming we are unable to outdo Lazurus in the forthcoming 45 minutes). Yellow & Redneck
The board should have shown some bottle and released Archie at Christmas. Massive back-step this season.

No he's at centre-back beside Devine - presumably to combat Laffable. Edited March 17, 2018 by Barney Rubble
Fearchar
The obvious way to play at a narrow pitch like Tyncastle is with 3 at the back, but that doesn't seem so obvious at Firhill Towers.

Agreed. Can’t understand how he wouldn’t think 3-5-2 wasn’t the way to go.
MonehJags
I don't know what else anyone needs to see. 6 wins from 30, 1 win in 20 away games, hardly ever score, concede criminal goals, its all tragic. You need to enjoy losing to defend this regime Just goes to show, if we had a decent manager we could dream of being as good a Kilmarnock
Fearchar
Anyone can make a mistake, but if you feel you need to wait until the team is 3 goals down before even starting to make any changes...
Barney Rubble
That was horrid. It was a winnable game and we didn't show up at any stage - probably an even worse effort than Kilmarnock at home in October.

Hugh Janus
Just in, not because I live across the road from Swinecastle, but because I left when the 3rd goal went in. Booth, Elliott and Erskine OK for the first half, Cerny, Osman, Cargill and Devine were a disaster. Dools, Woods, Storey and Lawless less than average. What's most worrying is the lack of fight. It looked from the start that we had no options going forward and that Hearts were cutting through us with ease. Championship beckons! Paukea
Hi time is absolutely up no question there. He's a club legend and always will be but it's time to go. some in the team have chucked it and the so called CAPTAIN is an embarrassment. I honestly believe he was trying to get sent off. Erskine although finished at this level himself was atleast screaming at his team mates and trying the Captain never uttered a word. our defending is laughable and Archie's insistence of constantly playing 4231 is killing us. Our last 8 games we must play 352 with Barton in the middle. i would bite your hand off for a play off just now because I dread to think where we might finish with this team and it's leader a shambolic performance today

elevenone
Hibs away next and Ross C visit Celtic so working on the assumption both away teams will leave empty handed it really does make the trip to Dingwall one of our most important games in a good while. MonehJags
The only way to reverse this abomination is to sack Archie this week, new man has two weeks to organise the team for Ross County. Finishing 11 and winning a play off is our only hope of surviving this season.
