Fawlty Towers
In to the quarter finals of the Scottish Cup after beating Queens Park 3-1 but that flattered us a bit. A number of changes to the starting line up probably contributed to a disjointed performance but ultimately progression is all that matters.
Albert's Ghost
We had an amazingly strong bench there.
Jaggernaut
Looked like horrendous weather conditions in the second half! BG stated that there were several girls playing who hadn't had much playing time of late, so some of the below-par tackling and ball control seems excusable. The QP No. 20 looks good; drove right through the Jags midfield to set up their goal, and had another similar run in the 2nd half.

Yes very impressed by the QP no.20. - would be a good summer signing for us. I also thought our keeper was very good. Two very good saves which showed her agility (to get up to the postage stamp corner)and super quick reactions (saving a shot from about 10 yards). Her handling of the ball llooked secure, assured and confident. looks like we are achieving strength in depth in our squad. Very best of luck in the next round and on Wednesday night v Spartans.i

That's Emma Craig who is an ex Thistle player. Had a hard time with injuries in her last season with us, including a very nasty concussion. We've not had much luck against Hearts this season, but were well in the game at Peasy until a hugely contentious decision to rule out a Thistle goal that would have made it 2-2 was quickly followed by a red card for our captain. Hearts will be favourites I suspect but they will definitely have preferred that tie at home rather than at Peasy. At least in March the rain should be marginally warmer. Just 90 minutes away from a Hampden semi where the dream is the winners of Livi v Spartans lie in wait.

I think BBG will embrace the toughness of this tie and instill into his team that they should enjoy and be positive about it. If we can start on the front foot we can win this tie. What a season the women are having: - a confirmed second top 6 in the league - a cup final v Rangers - a scottish cup quarter final. The women shouldn't have any problems with belief or confidence given the above achievements.
Fawlty Towers
A midweek fixture against Spartans, let's hope for 3points before a tough run of games all against the other sides in the top six. https://ptfc.co.uk/ptfc-fixture/spartans-wfc-v-partick-thistle-wfc-7th-february-2024/#match-preview

Fawlty Towers
A 1-0 victory against Spartans coupled with Hearts losing sees us jump up to fifth but we now finish the first part of the league with 3 tough games - Rangers and Hibs at home followed by Celtic away. Well done to the players and management.

Rangers look pretty damn good. That's because they have good players, especially Ross. Great win against Spartans tonight. Boyce is proving to be a very good acquisition. 5th place is definitely on now. Assuming Hibs fail to take points versus Rangers and Celtic and we also suffer the same lack of success 5th place will come down to our home game against Hibs. Win and 5th os almost assured. Well done to PT Ladies and of course the management and coaches etc. What a season you are having!

Jaggernaut
I'm thinking that I might just reward the team by supporting them with the purchase of a season ticket next season.
