No sense of humour. Either of them.

Well they've always taken themselves far.far too seriously, haven't they ? Didn't know that there actually was a sense of humour to be found deep in the recesses of Celtic Park or Ibrox, but there you go, you live and learn ! Some might even say that the two outfits concerned were themselves the joke, viewed in the context of the world -wide game. ? ( and not just in the playing sense.)

Exactly.

Besides I thought Lawwell was one to put commercial reasoning ahead of all else. Slagging off the crew whose very existence has been the single biggest outside reason for whatever success his lot has ever achieved is none too clever. While you can understand to some point why their rank and file support can't appreciate the one cheek of the same arse viewpoint you'd expect those in command would see the larger picture.

It's also kinda depressing to see that Lawwell having been elevated to SFA management taking cheap snipes, regardless of their validity.

This isn’t just the fault of the clubs, but our sh!t sports media in this country, reporting this crap like its actual news!

This non-issue was all over BBC Sportsound last night being debated by a panel of “experts.” It was dig at a scummy club, by another scummy club, yet it’s being reported like mainstream politics.

Good article on it by Tom English.

Love to laugh at Sevco, it's the gift that keeps on giving. In short, f*ck them.

But the hypocrisy of Celtic and their fans knows no bounds. They are the ones who are constantly telling us that they don't need sevco, that there's no such thing as the old firm, that they don't miss them, and prefer life without them. Despite the fact that their domestic attendances suggest otherwise.

Also, their last 2 AGMs have been dominated with questions about sevco. So which is it lads?

Getting increasingly sick of Celtic fans and their superiority complex.

"We're a great club with great fans who do no wrong"

"Samaras doesn't feign injury"

And the whole "we look after the community" charity thing can hopefully be knocked on the head now that they have rejected the idea of becoming a living wage employer.

The Daily Retard care....that paper promotes bigotry,

Nothing a red top/tabloid likes more than stirring up a hornets nest. It makes commercial sense, three stories for the price of one. First you get the offender edition. Then the response from the offended. Finally you get the I was misunderstood/misquoted patter and a farewell swipe from the offended. Just leave a hint of the you ain't heard the last of this and off we go next week for the next round of nonsense. Hack reporting at its most typical.

Interpreting hack-speak:

"An inquiry is to be launched…." [somebody said he'd have a look at something.]

"A furious row has broken out…." [somebody disagrees with something.]

"A bitter contest is under way…" [Two people have been linked with some position or other.]

Feel free to add others.

"The end of the world is nigh, fire and brimstone will rain down upon us and the four horses of the apocolypse will be released ..." [if TRFC aren't allowed back into the top league right away ...how did that work out btw?]

Just thought I'd pick this bit of your post up and highlight it as I think it's the crux of the matter. The jibe is just a big squirrel from Lawell to deflect attention from this item rejected at their AGM. At the one club in the top flight that more than any other can afford to pay a decent wage to non-playing staff.

They know the media will run with any Ra gers story and the Ibrox mob fell into the trap of helping their enemies by going along with it (of course when it comes to money they are not really enemies at all happy to get lots of it on the back of bigotry).

Although to be fair Graham Spiers seems to have belatedly commented on this.
