Jaggernaut
I always enjoyed the atmosphere in the shed at Broomfield. We (almost) always took a big support.

CotterJag
This is my favourite thread by a long way. I'm always amazed by the many great photo's and by how few players I can remember.

Of making my way from the trolley bus stop at queens cross hand in hand with my dad before that glorious first sighting of estadio firhill. Look at that crowd. And it didn't have to be the ugly sisters to attract those numbers along the garscube road. This topic will be 10 years old next Friday dec 5 so thanks again to juggernaut for being the inspiration behind this little bit of magic on our forum... As Robphil says big crowds at Firhill were not only seen against the "rotten mobs". I believe this picture could be from a League Cup match against Falkirk in August 1956 (attendance 20,000). I reckon it has to be early season due to there being a reasonable length of grass in the goalmouth!. (NOTE - if I am right the goalie is Bert Slater)

Forgot he played earlier for Falkirk.
