ChewinGumMacaroonBaaaz
His name is Lyle Taylor, and his gran's from Montserrat. He's here on loan from Scunthorpe, but he's not content with that. With Dools and him the goals fly in, we do "score when we want". Oi! Archie! Get Him signed up noo! Don't be so nonchalant!
Lindau
If as has been quoted, we have first option on him, we need to get him signed now. The more he scores the more interest there will be. Abdul, Foxy and Conrad need to to get signed up as well. Callum Booth had been great since he came in. Looks like at last we have a replacement for ATS. He had Ainsworth in his back pocket all afternoon and what a great cross for Lyle's second goal
Lindau
How do Motherwell get these highlights put up so quickly on You Tube, when in normal circumstances you can't see them till 6.00pm on a Sunday
The Arch
Both goals look like they might be slightly offside to me. PLEASING.
scotty
Both goals look fine to me. And I don't see any big remonstrations from the 'well players or hear any booing from their fans.
Hopeless Unbeliever
Hard to say definitively from those highlights, but he looks a little offside for the first goal but I'd say he's in line with Booth for the second. Also, as above, how are Motherwell allowed to show these highlights already?
JeanieD
Watched the Motherwell TV interview with their manager and apart from "a yard or half a yard offside at the second goal" ignorant comment the rest of it could have been taken from the "disappointed manager attempting to explain away his and his team's inabilities" handbook. On another thread someone (apologies for not remembering who) stated that the only manager to give us any credit recently was big John Hughes - it is perhaps no coincidence that the relative (apparent) intelligence and personalities in comparing the managers of Motherwell, St. Johnstone and Inverness CT might tend to suggest that Hughes is a cut above the other managers on both counts. [Archie to take note?]
kennymac29
It was me! Not meaning to add any xenophobia here and I don't campaign for ukip but Hughes also the only scottish manager among them, humble acceptance of defeat is obviously a scottish trait. jags on tour
There's only one Lyle Taylor Plays for Montserrat cos of his granfaither he gets the ball and he scores a goal walking in a Taylor wonderland
The Sunnylaw Jag
Great highlights Motherwell tv and they couldn't find a moment from yesterday's second half with their own side attacking. It goes to show how dominant we were in the second 45.

BowenBoys
Love that incident, in the second half, on the half-way line. Bannigan trying to run with the ball while being pulled back by his shirt. Madden was right beside him signaling 'play on'. Idiot.

He was playing the advantage but I cannot see where the advantage is if you can't move because the defender is trying to get your shirt off. partickthedog
Loved the way Motherwell could not get the ball past Abdul Osman in the run up to the second goal. I appreciate that it may be difficult to beat a goalkeeper who is defending a relatively small rectangle and can use his hands, but Abdul had the whole width of the pitch and unlimited height to protect and still they could not get it round him.
