In early November we raised enough funds for our thirteenth top. It was a struggle to get the funds for that one. Not surprising, you had dug deep already. I approached the club and they kindly agreed to let us have all future tops for £75. Last Jag Standing was born. Twenty five players at £3 each. Winner got the top. It was rather good fun. Now we find ourselves in a similar position. Astonishingly, though, we have reached this point in August. The club are unwilling to reduce the cost of sponsorship this early in the season which I completely understand. So, what do you think? Are you ready for Last Jag Standing? For now, it would need to be twenty five players at £6. Still an affordable opportunity to get your hands on sponsored kit. If we get enough players, we'll start after the Azeez competition. Still, no complaints from me. With a single donation we have secured our fourteenth top! News of which player we will sponsor will follow in due course. Grateful thanks to the member who PMd the donation. I started this season's campaign with the aim of raising whatever we could manage. I never expected to challenge last season's total. Remarkably, having now raised £2300, we are just £82 short of that figure. So, Last Jag Standing anyone? Just six quid entry.
