dunnikierjag
Was in the club office this morning and was very surprised to see the pitch being skimmed for reseeding. Very professional as I was thinking it was already the best surface I had ever seen at Firhill.

partickthedog
You know things are winding down when a "reseeding " topic comes up and gets a bunch of replies If the pitch is reseeding does that mean it is getting further away?
BowenBoys
If the pitch is reseeding does that mean it is getting further away? That explains a lot. I thought it was just my eyesight getting worse.

scotty
As there's no football (apart from a couple of cup finals) then this seems like an interesting topic. Just what is getting done to the pitch? I saw a pic on facebook with a couple of tractors on the bare field. Are they starting from scratch with seed? I always thought they laid turf. Will grass seeds have enough time to grow and to become a perfect football pitch? What was wrong with our glorious centre circle? All this is worrying me as there's no football involving Thistle to think about! Maybe someone who understands grassy things could tell me. lady-isobel-barnett
Strongly believe the Club should've consulted BowenBoys before doing anything with the centre circle.

jags on tour
Did ThistleWeir organise the relaying of the pitch? Good to see them investing further in the grass roots of our game.
