Garscube Road End
Penrice has been good going forward and dreadful defensively Give the kid a break. A huge step up from Livingston to facing Celtic. He will be a great asset to us.
MontyJag
Agree with Sutton for once. Need to be more aggressive and not be satisfied with a 2-1 defeat.

Dick Dastardly
It was fun while it lasted, but I guess the end result was inevitable

Excluding Czerny, Penrice should be the first player penciled into the starting eleven every week.
Jaggernaut
Stonewall penalty and certain red card as no attempt to play the ball. Beaton has completely shat it by not sending Lustig off.Storey has a shot on goal if he’s not pulled back. If that’s up the other end we have a guy sent off 100%. Thats what you’re up against with these refs, clueless. At least we got a stonewall penalty against Storey this time right enough! gerrrintaethuuuuuum They're not clueless. They know exactly what they are doing, and that's the tragedy of it.
Norgethistle
That starting line up is how we need to line up going into Saturday, subs nullified our threat.

Barney Rubble
It is I agree....so you might wonder with McGinn and Booth on the bench why throw him into this match I guess Muzzy was thrown in over McGinn to attempt to match Sinclair's pace. He got torn a new one though, as did Spittal, by Sinclair and Tierney. Griffiths' introduction changed the flow of the game, and Archie too late with his subs. Both Barton and Doolan were on the side of the park ready to come on when the goals went in. On the plus side - we gave them a game for 70 minutes and took the lead. Is that the first time we've had the lead against Celtic this century? Great to have Abdul back, he really breaks the play up, even if his passing wasn't sharp tonight. Baily did fine, and James Penrice is going to be some player for us. But the immediate necessity is to get points on the board.............. Jaggernaut
The biggest bottle merchants of any team vs. the erse cheeks. Without doubt. Have been for decades. Which is why we will probably never realistically win any major cup or become an established top-half team.
Blackpool Jags
In my opinion, great effort and in the end we came up short. Many positives to take from the game: Tam was great, Sammon always looked dangerous, Abdul did well considering how long he was out and Ryan Edwards put in a shift and three quarters. Also, we had chances to get a point or three. On this showing, I'm confident we'll still be playing in this division next season. Oh, and yes, Lustig should've been sent off but Beaton shat it - simple as that. Still feeling proud to be a Jag.
Metz
Poor game management from the manager tonight. We could have had something out that game. Based on that starting eleven do you seriously think we looked to take something from that game. Even though we went up the damage was done with the line up, however hindsight is 50:50 and Archie has obviously looked to Saturday instead of tonight for points. MonehJags
We all dared to dream. Two very disappointing goals to concede. First 20 minutes was shocking but we settled into it. Started the 2nd half positively an with better quality and decision making might have had another. Then the backing off started again and that was that. McCarthy will need to wait for the cup game before he gets another start. I agree with an earlier post about possession, we kept giving it away or running down cul-de-sacs with the ball and losing it. Hard to be too critical. A couple of poor mistakes was our undoing

Metz
No idea why Edwards was man of the match, he has a lot of energy but the quality is really lacking. He just isn't improving in my opinion.
Garscube Road End
Archie surrendered any chance of getting something when he withdrew both Sammon and Storey. We done nothing after that.

Barney Rubble
Archie surrendered any chance of getting something when he withdrew both Sammon and Storey. We done nothing after that. Have to agree. After Griffiths scored, the only time we featured in their penalty area was Penrice's run and the subsequent corner.
Garscube Road End
You for real, what chances in the 2nd half did we create before the subs came on? Oh dear! You can't even see that both of them were an out ball route that we were using. Taking both of them off and there was nothing for anyone to look for an outlet. Hindsight is 20/20. He did, however replace them with our two best attacking players in recent years, including our player with the best scoring record against Celtic. So hardly unreasonable.
