partickthedog
Did you see the fantastic huge spider brooch Lady Hale was wearing yesterday when she delivered her damning indictment on Boris Johnson's ill conceived attempt to prorogue Parliament? I thought that she was really rubbing it in. A sort of judicial bench equivalent of over-celebrating a goal in front of the opposition fans in order to rile them up! A few secondary questions: Is Lady Hale a closet Queens Park fan? How would recent history have unfolded differently if our Prime Minister were not Boris Johnson, but Maurice Johnston? Will our own Lady Isobel Barnett soon be elevated to the bench and does she have any killer brooches to display?
Barney Rubble
A lyric for creepy crawly Boris: He's come to a sticky end Don't think he will ever mend Never more will he crawl 'round He's embedded in the ground

I've been elevated to a bar stool after falling off if that's any good? No brooches but I have broached many a beer keg in my time.

If it was Maurice Johnston he would have been at the Green party, left, then promised to go back, only to have a last minute change of mind and join the Tories.
Woodstock Jag
To be fair she directly quoted a Jags fan in her full judgment...
