A 2-1 defeat today. From what I saw on youtube Hibs had a bit more physicality about them (added by some eccentric refereeing). We hit the bar late on and someone should have squared the ball to Cara Henderson for a tap in rather than shoot for the near post and it could have been a draw. Onwards and upwards!

A good deal of naivety in defence at Lochburn, with central defenders failing to ensure the offside line was held and, at one point, two outfield defenders and the goalkeeper all going for the same ball in the box: the keeper really should be shouting instructions. That said, shortly after the break, when Hibs scored their second goal, the Jags looked dead and buried but they came out fighting and were close to an equaliser on a few occasions. Lawton (3) was the outstanding player, at right back, then moving further forward and scoring the Jags' only goal, but the first step to improved results has to be a secure defence, and her determination would have been better employed at centre back.

In general, the Hibs players carried and shielded the ball better, and their passing was more accurate. At times the Jags players just seemed to launch long balls forward - initially aimlessly but later on to turn the Hibs defence, as the Hibs team was playing a pressing game. Their goalkeeper seemed tall for a woman (able to jump to and hang on to the crossbar).

My understanding is that Courtney didn't suffer a seizure following her head knock, which is positive. That comes with the caveat that I am hearing that news second hand and I'm no medical expert.

Ambulance arrived approx 5:15pm, just about 3 hours after the incident.

Was a horrible situation. It's easy to say that the girls should be professional and put it to the back of their minds but that is easier said than done. I thought, and this is by no means a criticism, that the girls heart wasn't quite in it today.

A 2-0 defeat today but we did create a few chances in the second half and I thought we were due a penalty but the ref thought otherwise (and booked Mr Graham as he had the same opinion as me). First viewing of the stadium at Kirkintilloch and it looked very smart.

Yeah. The gypsy-like flitting from place to place is unfortunate, but on the field the women did quite well. There's a lot of money to overcome before we can damage the "terrible trio."  But piece by piece, we seem to be making progress.

Highlights from today's game. Could someone who knows more about football than I (a large sample size) please explain when 4 mins in to the highlights we don't get a penalty and their player is red carded?

Just watched the highlights of the game v Glasgow City.

Appreciate it's only highlights but thought we played some good stuff and with some better decision making would have scored a goal perhaps two.

The penalty claim was a good one and it doesnt fill you with confidence when the Referee andvhis assistants fail to see a player being clearly pulled off the ball.

A clear penalty and red card. Shocking refereeing from the officials.

Bet a pound to a penny it would have been given at the other end.
