So thats now

Mens -HA & 3rd Strip

Woman's- HA Strips

Jags for Good Strip

and now TJF Men & Woman Strips

plus the TJF membership + Lotto + PTTV + Corporate Hospitality

all being pushed to a core support of 3000 Fans

And all before you actually buy a Ticket to see the Game ?

Was this what was meant at the Club Q&A for “squeezing a bit more out” on the Revenues ?

Your launching it to make money and stamp TJF authority at every part the Club - even the Team Running onto the Park

The Team playing in TJF Shirts - TJF are now the Club - seriously lost the plot mate

as for the Board - they just confirmed TJF are calling the shots - who lets a Supporters Group have the Team wearing “ there strip”

Thats 10 Strips being punted to the Fans + Two Football Teams + Two Club Charities + one Supporters group ( with multiple products being sold ) + Players Fund + Lotto + Corporate Hospitality +Sponsor Player Kit

and we are still forecasting a £280K loss and burnt through £200K in cash reserves last Season

but give us more money ?

£600K of inherited losses

oh wait - it was actually ÂŁ700K of losses ?

actually it was ÂŁ800K of losses ?

Strange thing is - the actual inherited losses were £355K as per the Accounts -and the residual debt was £220K which was paid off by tranche 1

but lets keep blaming the inherited losses

Yep. Tremendous, isn’t it?

I’m picking the team for the Dunfermline game.

Yep. Tremendous isn’t it?

It’s not like kits with fan names on it have already been done by Hearts and Morton, two other fan owned clubs.

A fan-owned football club.

Tremendous, isn’t it?

Were the Fans being asked to buy 10 Strips at the same time ?

Were the Fans being told that the reason they were trying to raise funds was because there was £600K actually £700K - no wait £800K of historical losses when in fact they were paid off ?

TJF are now the Club - they call the shots - they agree we can run up £280k of losses as long as they have a say in the Budget

TJF and the Board are the same thing

Or maybe address the reason why your racking up losses ?

keep giving us your money - we will decide

ÂŁ600K of inherited losses

Ignoring a modern apprentice subsidy that had to be discontinued when the Academy ran out of cash.

53 minutes ago, Jordanhill Jag said:

Once you take into account the fact that the Academy would no longer, going forward, be in a position to pay for modern apprentice contracts.

53 minutes ago, Jordanhill Jag said:

If you take into account the fact that the Academy lost ÂŁ200k in 2022-23, partly because it spent an almost six figure sum funding modern apprentices, but also because it had no other sources of funding.

If you want to shut the Academy, just say you want to shut the Academy.

The supporters overwhelmingly support keeping open the Academy.

So extra income needed found to make the Academy sustainable.

Something that has been achieved thanks to a lot of hard work from a small group of people, the securing of new Academy specific revenue streams and, let’s not forget, a TJF Academy pledge.

You can choose to be part of the problem, chuntering away at the sidelines, having Beer and Sandwiches with deranged anonymous trolls on the internet.

Or you can choose to be part of the solution. Like we did.

If we’re going to talk about “the actual accounts” they clearly show a net liabilities figure of £250k.

Yet again, details have never been your strong point.

If you don't want the strip then you don't buy it.

Of course - but it pretty much states the role the fans have in the Club - or should we change it from Fans to Consumers

give us your money your superiors will decide how to spend it ( and sell off bits of the Club whilst we are at it )

But you knew about the Modern Apprenticeship Scheme funding requirement when the £600K losses were being stated ? Funny enough no mention of it at the AGM ( + its now gone from £600k to £800k )

same with Stadium Repairs - no Capex then suddenly Stadium Repairs were an unforeseen Expenditure - thats shocking and TJF are defending this blatant ommissiin from last Years Budget ?

the Academy is funded separate to Club mainly by one person - who isn't on the Board ? Have you ever considered why ?

the residual debt of £220K was paid off using Tranche 1 Investment -there was therefore no debt going into last Season as it was cleared ( leaving £280K cash reserves ) which are now £75K - where did the £200k in cash reserves go ( since Im being advised detail is not my strong point maybe you could explain it to me )

so questioning the financial “ spin “ is now part of the problem ? Were TJF “ part of the problem “ when they questioned previous Boards finances that didn't stack up ?

Ive never at any point stated shut the Academy ? Or modern Apprenticeships - there are other cuts - but they are not one of them

As for being part of the Solution - ok - the Board don't have the experience skills or contacts to run the Club without selling off chunks of it

TJF have two choices - continue to let them do so- or make changes - if your proposing continuing with the cosy status quo -then Im of no use to you

I at no point have ever refused to support the Club financially or using contacts to help make change and “ solve problems “

however the Club & TJF needs to start accepting it has one

my advice - follow the Golden Rule of Holes - when your in one - stop digging  - your cash burn is out of control

the statements at the AGM & at the Q&A showed the Board have no idea how to get out of this financial TailSpin - not a clue

They are figures that are describing different things.

On literally zero occasions has TJF "defended" the failure across several seasons to allocate contingency to stadium repairs.

That was last season, Jim. Not this season. And if that person had not stepped-in, the Academy would have been closed.

Now, thankfully, it is well on its way to operating sustainably.

You can be part of the problem, chuntering away.

Or you can be part of the solution. Like that person decided to be.

Nope. You're still wrong about this. The tranche 1 investment didn't happen until October 2023. The accounts to May 2023 show net current liabilities of just over ÂŁ250k.

There was an operating loss of circa ÂŁ170k in season 2023-24. And there was about ÂŁ75k of net current assets left at May 2024.

Add those three numbers up. This isn't complicated. It's arithmetic that the average 7-year-old can do.

You don't "question financial spin". You peddle nonsense by misrepresenting the finances.

Then you have to explain where the additional funds should have come from to fund the Academy. So we're agreed. A structural shortfall in excess of ÂŁ800k to fill. Thank you.

It was common ground amongst everyone at and around the Club in early 2023 that at least £1 million of new capital was needed to address the financial problems and allow it to rebuild.

Whatever anyone thinks of the Club Board (and plenty of criticisms can be made) anyone who suggests that there was a route to raising that sort of money, on the timescales required, that didn't involve the issuing of new shares, should not be taken seriously.

If you are counting mens' and womens' strips as different due to being sized differently then why not go the whole way with your exaggeration and claim there's now 210 strips on sale. (That's not even including the kids' and babies' strips.)

Another hijacked thread. What joy.

“ there are other parts of the revenue we can squeeze further” as stated at the Club Q&A

We are no longer Fans - we are simply Revenue to be “squeezed” from multiple

“ groups” who all think its ok to keep asking for cash ultimately to give them more clout for there own agendas

here is a really radical idea - run the place at a breakeven

If its not the Fans they are squeezing for money - its the Club Assets they are squeezing by selling them off

We have 3000 Supporters - 10 Strips being punted at them ? Real Madrid don't have that many

I hope fans like the top, it’s available in the membership shop, if non-members want one, just sign up.

If you want one for your kid, grandkid or niece/nephew, join them up as a Junior member (ÂŁ10 a year plus a free gift).

IMG_6080.jpeg

I was just thinking that I'll buy one and most likely, my name will end up under the armpit!

I then thought what about using a budget airline system to pick spots for an extra £10 etc, zone or tier the spaces, and if you just want a free slot just anywhere on the top, then you'll be in the random selection once the deadline passes.  I'd pay an extra few quid for that.

Great idea to have the option of purchasing a one off top.
