King Kenny Posted November 16 Report Share Posted November 16 Enjoyable game, very good performance. Started really well and should have had at least one before we scored. I felt we got a little casual after going 2-0 up and their goal came from that. We had the ball high up on the right and played a series of lazy passes that ultimately saw a tame pass back gifted to their striker by Roberts. It was perhaps the shake we needed as we started the second half well, really clever ball by Robinson and a brave finish from Graham. Again, I felt we sat back and invited some pressure on when it was clear they were there for the taking. Great work by Chalmers for the 4th, he's really come on to a game. Fitzpatrick frustrates the life out of me, showed with his assist for the 5th what he can do but rarely shows it. I've been critical of Crawford but thought he was very good today, carried out the dirty work. Bannigan played very well again, he's certainly upped his level recently. Robinson a deserved MotM, a great team player and brings the best out of Graham. Special mention to Kyle Turner who I thought had a really assured game at full back. His distribution was excellent and his free kicks were back to the standard we know he can achieve. Thought Ablade looked lively when he came on and a great reception for Lawless, you'd never have known he'd been out so long. We're starting to find some form and with results elsewhere we've made up some ground. A long way to go and a big game next week to show we really are back in it.
