Jaggernaut
If memory serves me right, Klein had 3 games in a row that he cost us and that was enough for Lambie. Airdrie, St Mirren and Ross County. Â I defer to your more exact information.
The Mighty Quinn
Jonny has left Inverness in search of first team football - shame it never worked out for him, hope he finds a new club and his career starts heading in an upward trajectory again. Â Bet he is grateful to Nigel Worthington, who told he would need to move to a bigger club to be a contender for the Northern Ireland squad. He has now went from pushing to be the first choice keeper to not even being in the squad...and with a keeper of Lee Camp's ability in goal, it could be a long way back! hope it works out???!!! screw him! we were trying to build a team and he jumped ship. he's a sell out and an idiot looking for a bigger wage. seriously screw him! GrantB
Anyone remember the names of the 2 'trialist' keepers we had after John Brough got injured? One was in goal in a 4-0 home loss to Clyde, he was far and away the worst keeper I have ever clapped eyes on. When Archie McLean came in, he looked like Roughie in his prime compared to these jokers!

Archie looked good to start of with and in the run up to the celtic qtr final at firhill he was great....... seemed to all go down hill from there, but big wolfie was a cracking keeper I remember himtackling someone out at the corner spot in a midweek game, and getting away with it
jaggy
This thread reminded me of 2 ex-Scotland keepers that played for us near the end of their careers. Jim Herriot definitely played a few games for us in the 70's, but can somebody confirm that David Harvey also turned out for us, possibly in the early 80's? jagfox
Not sure about Harvey but Jim Stewart was capped I'm sure.
Dick Dastardly
Anyone remember Albanian trialist Luljan Gjeloshi ? If I remember the story right, Lambie hooked him after about 15 minutes of his trial and said "if he was an Albainian U21 it must have been at something other than football"
a f kincaid
David Harvey played only one game for Thistle. Clyde away on 9 Feb 1985. Lost 1-0.
Ami
amen. i hope paul cairneys children get introduced to michael jackson. if he was alive lol  Bang out of order!!!  Both Jonny and Paul are two players who worked their arses off for PTFC both on and off the field!!!! jdwishbone
Bang out of order!!! Â Both Jonny and Paul are two players who worked their arses off for PTFC both on and off the field!!!! Â Can't say I'd blame either of them. Both served their contracts and thought that a move somewhere else was the right thing for them. In Tuffy's case that hasn't worked out, and only time will tell if Cairney fairs any better. IMO it's not like Harkins who did jump ship. Collins Out!
Cairney never hid his ambition to make the step up so I don't bear him any grudges. Tuffey was a bit more elusive on what he was going to do. I think Jackson got bammed up too.

Bryza
Here's a couple that haven't been mentioned. Mark Cairns from the dark days after save the jags & Cammy Duncan (ex Motherwell Watson Towers era)

Haxton was indeed the worst ever and that includes Nelson Still.
Jaggernaut
Anybody else think that maybe the Tuffmeister is now destined for a career of mediocrity?
