kni
Under 2,000 Probably 1,500 at most. Can't see Cove bringing a huge number of fans.

I'll go 2000, we got about 1800 against Rovers in the diddy cu.··sorry Ramsdens national cup extraveganza. Decent prices as well.

jagfox
Rovers would be more attractive opponents than Cove. You would think, but Rovers had a poor crowd for the Ramsdens game. Also it was a fiver more for adults if i recall correctly, than the match tomorrow. Also it ko at alba o'clock on a Sunday. We have our first meeting with Cove at 3pm on a Saturday. Bottom line it'll still be between 1500-2000 at the game though
lady-isobel-barnett
Probably 1,500 at most. Can't see Cove bringing a huge number of fans. Can't see Cove bringing that much fewer fans than some of our previous visitors this season. But, yes, I'd expect a crowd circa 1500. Strange as it may seem I don't think an away tie to Cove would've been that much lower.

There could be quite a few fans being dragged to the shops by their other halves.
G SUS
I think it will be below 2,000 because if people are going to have to miss a game before Christmas, for shopping or what-not, then this logically makes the most sense to be the one to miss. The Earl of Hathaway
Anyone considering not going - this is THE SCOTTISH CUP. This is where the adventure starts. ' oh aye, the year we reached the final I was in Buchanan Galleries for the game against Cove, because I couldn't be bothered paying £10' Fuxake! ' oh aye, the year we reached the final I was in Buchanan Galleries for the game against Cove, because I couldn't be bothered paying £10' Fuxake! If you have to miss one game between now and Christmas, through being dragged shopping, would you prefer 1. A "shootie in" against a Highland league club at home. 2. A league fixture when we're pushing for the title and promotion 3. An attractive Scottish Cup tie on December 3rd. Which would you pick? Pie Of The Month
We have a free Saturday in 2 weeks time since we're playing Hamilton on the Friday night and then the Saturday before Christmas free. Logically those would be the Saturdays to pick to go shopping so the 3 options above aren't the only options. Anyone in the local area who would be using the excuse of Christmas shopping for not attending the game would simply find another excuse not to be there if that one wasn't available. G SUS
I take it you've forgotten Culter? Away from home it was a struggle. At home it was a shootie-in. Your point?
kni
I take it you've forgotten Culter? Beat them 4-0 at Firhill.
Lenziejag
Why is anybody trying to talk this game down - it's almost half price. Who cares who the opposition is ? Or are we becoming like OF fans and think that some games are beneath us ? We need to get out and support for every game.
Lin1876
I'm going to guess around 1800-2000. We'll probabaly get a few neutrals along, and I don't see the home crowd being much lower than usual because of the lower price. Cove aren't exactly the biggest Highland League club, but I can see around 150 or so making the trip for what is a big game for them. Heck, Culter brought a respectable number down last season. Blackpool Jags
1,763. Nothing surer.
Lenziejag2
I understand that today's attendance was 1957. It certainly felt like more than that - but perhaps that was just the tension as the game progressed! Anyone care to give a reasoned forecast of next week's attendance versus Dunfermline? scottymagoo
This could be turned into a wee money spinner for the club. Set up a table in the JH, £1 a guess, nearest guess takes 50% of the proceeds. Like the 50/50 draw but with an element of skill to it.

uberteeb
Get a 50/50 guy at the North Stand turnstyles, I've not seen one all season.
Pie Of The Month
Get a 50/50 guy at the North Stand turnstyles, I've not seen one all season. There's been one just at the stand after the turnstiles the past few games.
twinny
Aye, there was a 50/50 seller inside the turnstile in the North Stand yesterday. He might even have sold the winning ticket, I was 100 out and got there at about 10 to 3.
