ChiThistle
I wonder if it would be doable/worth it to offer free or discounted (and non-transferable) tickets to any Hearts season ticket holders should the club go to the brink of extinction. kni
Two promotion spots up for grabs then! Only if Hearts are liquidated like Rangers. If the club goes into administration, points will be deducted. The administrators would then try to find a buyer who would have to offer a deal that is acceptable to the creditors. Members Willjag
Anyway....... Got to feel sorry for the Hearts fans that gave their Club a large wedge recently to stop them going under. "We'll go bust and we aint kidding" I wonder how this will affect them in their Cup Final? "We'll go bust and we aint kidding" I wonder how this will affect them in their Cup Final? Hearts also got £400k for Ryan McGowan. My guess is that the supporters would try to buy the club before it went into administration.

lady-isobel-barnett
The supporters of Hearts can be assured that the Board of the club continues to be diligent in financial matters One thing you can't deny about the Jambos is just how prudently they're managed. A true example to all other clubs.

lady-isobel-barnett
A virtual coconut to the first poster who can find a press link to a paragraph containing both the words "Hearts" and "Consortium". twinny
A virtual coconut to the first poster who can find a press link to a paragraph containing both the words "Hearts" and "Consortium". History tells us it shouldn't be too difficult. Wasn't too difficult at all. In fact the words are right beside each other. From last November: On Tuesday, Hearts said they had rejected a "note of interest" in the club from the Foundation of Hearts consortium led by businessman Alex Mackie. The Cup
Reports are that Dundee have signed Colin Nish on a PCA for £4000 a week. What's the record for a single team entering administration?

G SUS
Pardon m ignorance. What is a PCA ? Pre Contract Agreement. Players can sign an agreement to join a team in the last six months of their contract.

twinny
Odd that Dundee are spending big when they'll be in the first division next season. If that is true, I guess they'll be doing what they are accused of every season they're in the first division and 'going all out for promotion' by spending their SPL earnings not on staying in the SPL, but saving it for the promotion campaign the following year. Makes sense when you consider that they had no chance with being admitted to the SPL so late on.
Mr Bunny
meanwhile over at East End Pk http://www.dafc.co.u...208030_3074888? looks like there's an outbreak of dummy spitting afoot. They got away with over spending for years because they had representatives in the bank that held their debt. Hearts got away with it for years because Romanov's bank/companies held their debt. Rangers (as were) got away with it for years because Murray had pals in the bank who let him borrow what he liked on the toss of a coin. Now the banks are up the well know creek and can no longer be relied to help their pals and the reality is thundering down on them like an express train on the damsel tied to the track in an old movie. Jeez - that's messy! Can't help but think that DAFC are totally playing in to the hands of their enemies by airing their dirty laundry in public.
