topcat
How are media covering the final so far. Is it widely known the game is on Alba TV, are the papers running stories.
jagsman411971
The Daily Ranger/Rebel had a, near enough, full page story on it today.
Dimairt
It's been good to see the Jags get an ever increasing number of column inches as this season has progressed. The Evening Times and Herald have been particularly good with a story almost every day. Looking forward to Sunday, my oldest son is coming up from London to join me and the youngest one at what should be a great week. 'Mon the Jags! Trotter
Was it an 8 page pull out for 3rd Div champions in Evening Times this week? I'd expect a few pages in final preview then who knows how many if things go our way. 16 maybe? At least.
jagfox
Two pages in Evening Times today, more tomorrow with a competition to win two tickets. Scotsman had two pages today as well, though some babble from David Longmuir took up most of one page.

jagsman411971
Just saw a segment on Sky Sports News about it. Interviewed Archie and had a 95 year old fan with his family and spoke about how he has only seen Thistle win 2 cups in his lifetime. read'n'yell
Welsh is our one player I have absolutely no doubt could do well in the SPL. The others all have a chance but are a bit more of a hit or a miss at the moment.

jags on tour
clyde 1 gave it a fair bit of coverage today to be fair McCall and Gordon Dalziel we're speaking highly of Thistle and Archie. McCall said he had Nicky Clark on trial at Firhill when he was in charge but as we had Buchanan, Sid and Roberts he wouldn't have played and decided against signing him. Jaggy1967
If so, then that's a pub to steer clear of in the future. I'd feckin make sure they know it as well ! Sad particularly with the effort the club put in yearly on Byres Road.
lady-isobel-barnett
Not a mention of any sort on BBC Scotland news tonight. I'm kinda old school in favouring BBC over commercial broadcasters but even I see the weakness in not promoting a game they're feckin' filming live. 1876Jag
Welsh is our one player I have absolutely no doubt could do well in the SPL. The others all have a chance but are a bit more of a hit or a miss at the moment. Fox, Balatoni, Muirhead, Erskine, Doolan and Paton would all easily be able to step up whilst Craig has much SPL experience. It's not exactly La Liga standard. read'n'yell
Fox, Balatoni, Muirhead, Erskine, Doolan and Paton would all easily be able to step up whilst Craig has much SPL experience. It's not exactly La Liga standard. I think easily is an exaggeration. Just need to look at Cairney who can't get an eye in a Hibs team that has only won once in their last 10 games. He was a stand out for us on a weekly basis. I think all these players you mention as well as Bannigan and O'Donnell all have the potential to step up but the standard is better than your suggesting. The reason I singled out Welsh is I don't think his style of play would be affected by bigger or faster players.
