kni
FAO Dark Passenger  Celtic have signed Michael Duffy from Derry City.  The SFA website also says that St Mirren have signed Michael Brewster from FC United of Manchester.  Aberdeen have signed defender Lukas Culjak, ex Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich. allyo
Relived to see us keeping our team together. Was a bit worried by some of the rumours circulating last night. Also surprised at the reaction of some Thistle fans, who always seem to think the a new signing is a major coup but losing a key player is no big deal

ThickAsThieves
If neither tie - Dundee v Celtic, Thistle v ICT - goes to a replay, then Mackay-Steven and Armstrong could be in line to make their debuts for Celtic against us. kni
If it weakens both teams then it's even better. Â ^A few teams seem weaker. It's hard understand why Accies released Antione-Curier, especially with Andreu leaving too. They've scored at least 20 goals this season. It's also good to see McKay leave ICT without being replaced. The Arabs will miss GMS and Armstrong too. By contrast, we have strengthened our attack and should pick up a few more points from the clubs above us over the rest of the season. read'n'yell
Be interesting to see Motherwells influx of players, can't imagine they will be that good (outiwth Pearson). As for County, who knows. It has worked in the past, but the quality doesn't seem to be there this time round.
yoda-jag
i read elsewhere that added to his signings pre january , thats mcintyre signed eleven players for the dingwall mob. adams had signed eleven in the summer window too. the revolving door in dingwall is still as overused as ever. can't see them finishing anything but twelfth though still. Â motherwell is a desperate throw of the dice, they're hoping all these players will gel quickly and they can pull away from the bottom two or three ..... losing ojamaa is another big blow for them, but like ross county, they are having to gamble because their squad hasn't performed as hoped and are now placing it all on red. Â our latest benefactors of free points, st mirren, have lost their best player but signed three strikers ..... with what is an otherwise pretty poor squad, they're now hoping they can score their way out of trouble, and i think it's going to be nip and tuck for the paisleyites with motherwell for avoiding the playoff spot. Â killie are weakened, and are like st mirren horrible to watch, but effective enough in enough games to see themselves safe before they punt johnston at end of his contract. Â perth saints transfer activity leaves them neither stronger or weaker, although quite a number of their support apparently would have liked to have gotten a number of underachievers off their wage bill in this window. Â imo, all of these clubs have squads that look no better than ours, especially now with us having strengthened with the signing of taylor, so no reason why we can't be aiming for seventh as a finishing spot. Â dundee have strengthened in numbers, and probably overall quality (even with hefferdud), don't know if we've got enough to catch them by the split to pass them for sixth though. Â accies have been seriously weakened, first with the loss of their manager, and now their beloved vingt deux. mac leaving was apparently because he took the huff at not getting the managers job. be interesting to see their form for rest of season, especially after last months decline post neil. Â fake thistle also seriously weakened with mckay off, 5 wins and a draw last month (all against bottom half teams, with exception of accies who they beat also) ..... all 5 wins featured mckay (the draw was after he'd left for wigan), with him scoring five of their nine goals, so expect to see their season tail off. Â snake united ..... happy to see no signings of any thistle players from them, they've yet more cash in the bank, but thats them surrendered the league cup and given the signal they don't think they can win the league or even finish within ten points of whoever wins it this season. Â aberdeen ..... yet more signs they are building for a better future, mcinnes looking like he's in it for the longterm, and will be doing their best to run the eastenders close for the title this season, and probably strengthen again in the summer for another tilt at being top dog next season. Â the eastenders ..... blah. whatever. ftdf.

Armand2
That is a good signing! Â On paper, yes, but it's going to take more than a striker to improve that Motherwell team; they are comfortably the poorest side I've seen this season and will be doing well to avoid automatic relegation. Â Yeah they are poor but with Sutton and McDonald they could have a very potent strike force. read'n'yell
Watched the Falkirk Rangers game last night and Dundee have a really good player in Loy. Thought he was maybe a bit of a poacher but his all round game play is excellent. It's funny watching games now where it is Rangers on the back foot and holding on to a draw rather than the other way around.
