Members Willjag
Just seen this on the 'ficial site..... Fly The Flag Smashing idea to get more red and yellow in the JHS and by giving them to the kids that are in or will join the Young Thistle Scheme. Look forward to seeing it on Saturday and hopefully encourage the team to victory!
Vom Itorium
It's just a ruse to keep the BoD hidden! Great idea though, what's the odds it was Jordanhill Jags?
Woodstock Jag
You know I saw a familiar username browsing the forum this evening, and his appearance happily coincides with an article on the OS name dropping Espanyol... cjptfc
Those flags are stupid looking, the type used when wee teams get to League Cup finals etc.
Ma Ba'
credit where it's due, a great idea, lets hope it raises the atmosphere in the JHS which has been pretty poor of late.
Shuggie
Yep a great idea for now and tomorrow. I like the simple R&Y message in the flag. It'll certainly brighten up all the approaches to Firhill too and adda lot to the buzz before the game. Will these flags also be on sale? You never know, some of the older fans might just buy some to share out to kids that come along to the game? They are the future of our club. The Earl of Hathaway
Those flags are stupid looking, the type used when wee teams get to League Cup finals etc. Absolutely correct - I can't believe they even bother. Honestly, WHERE DO YOU START WITH A COMMENT LIKE THAT?

Fair enough, a bit harsh from me I admit!! I just get depressed at the fact we have to use these means to generate an atmosphere at Firhill, but needs must I suppose. northernsoul
Nice to know that there are certain individuals who care and do their best to improve the atmosphere at Firhill, through schemes like these.

Mediocre Pundit
Can adult fans buy them? I'm well up for waving a flag about!
1 John Lambie
Can adult fans buy them? I'm well up for waving a flag about! I'm sure plenty would be sold if the club were to buy more! Maybe £5 a pop.
alx
Good idea, i'll run it past shorty. Maybe he's too old though what with going into primary four and being up the back of the stand with the bad lads swearing at raith rovers
jaf
The kids will love it and it will look great....congrats to the club for a good idea! Anything that makes Firhill look a bit less drab and engages with people (the kids) is good.

little_miss_jag
For anyone interested, we managed to sign up about 40 kids today to the junior jags! Pretty good! And although it may not please everyone, getting a huge flag is quite exciting for kids and really made their 1st home game of the season that bit better although a win probably also helped to make it a good day all round!! We will be at the kids entrance again next few home games for anyone who has kids who still wants to join the junior jags!! Yes I was the girl with the crazy pink boots pestering you as you came in!! A really great idea from the club to get kids hooked at a young age!
