The Sons of Somner
Jesus, all these picture from the dreadful 80's ain't doing me any good! Horrible time to be a Jags fan, even seeing the names on the line ups gives me nightmares. Â Can you not skip the mid eighties photies and get on to the early 90's asap...even return to the 70's! Jag
Right there is a Pint waiting at the next home game in the Woody, first to name the Thistle players in training  I know none of them are Sean Welsh, he was injured at that time.

stuthejag
Is that Tannadice  Yeah 1-1 draw Jags getting late equaliser
lady-isobel-barnett
Ricky Waddell. Â Very good footballer who just couldn't hack the physical side to the game. Would probably have been a Jags hero in an earlier era when less was expected defensively of wide players. Somewhat ironically a very good crosser of the ball, which is something often lacking from Jags play in recent times.

paralytic thistle
I’m surprised nobody has spotted who these three guys are yet, from left to right, it’s Dick Campbell his son Iain and his brother Iain
robphil
it could be willie collum's grandad doing a runner at the final whistle...

stuthejag
It's 1914 Willie Bulloch, Bob Cafferty & Willie Hamilton in training. Â Bulloch in a 14 year playing career with the Jags would win the cup in 1921. Â Cafferty would only spend two years at Firhill before disappearing from the senior game in Scotland. Â Hamilton tragically played every game in the 1921 cup campaign but missed the Final through injury and died a few months later at the age of

Jaggernaut
Suspect a Junior Cup semi-final or the likes? Mainly going by the strips - and sadly the crowd! Â That could be right. Doesn't really look like any Thistle strip.
