lady-isobel-barnett
A phenomenal post to sign off with, TJR. To say Stats Watch has been enjoyable, interesting and informative would be a gross understatement. Thanks

Rid Skwerr
A brilliant read and one which makes me want to boast about this Jags season to anyone who'll listen. Unfortunately, I can hardly remember any of the important numbers when it comes to the detail! More power to your spreadsheets and look forward to even more boasting next year. sick in the basin
Fantastic stuff TJR - Archie should have you scouting the opposition with that attention to detail. Your end of season review is my nomination for post of the season
Jaggernaut
Just to echo the sentiments: always great to read, and the Summary Overview is quite brilliant. :worship:
twinny
Good man, sorted. I was trying to figure out how we hadn't had any wins, draws or defeats in sixteen matches!

partickthedog
TJR. Before you enjoy a well-earned summer holiday could you confirm whether Tomas Cerny will become the first Czech to play for Thistle when he makes his debut.
Ancipital
The legendary Vitezslav Mooc takes that honour. Although you might differentiate between "be on the pitch" and "play".
The Jukebox Rebel
^ Aye, Vítezslav Mooc: 16.02.2008 Dunfermline Athletic [a] D1-1 (SFL First Division - game 24) 08.04.2008 Stirling Albion [h] W1-0 (SFL First Division - game 33) 19.04.2008 Livingston [a] L0-1 (SFL First Division - game 35) January window forward, McCall clearly never fancied him, made 3 starts, team never scored when he was on the pitch, subbed every time, never even made bench in his 4 months. Unknown Czech trialist: 13.07.2013 Dumbarton [a] W4-3 (Friendly) 16.07.2013 Livingston [a] D0-0 (Friendly) The i.d. of the Czech centre-half from 2012-13 remains unknown to me, much to my dismay. I might need to apply as a Firhill office intern so I can have a swatch in the filing cabinet. Whit aboot Czech Charnley, ye havin' that? allyo
I'd quite like to know when was the last time we won at least one game in every month of a top flight season. I imagine that could be pretty rare. Funny how consistency can mean different things depending on perspective. During the season, on a game-to-game basis Thistle seemed really inconsistent. Yet the way we maintained pretty steady form throughout the season (evidenced by a win, or two, every month) looks like a consistent season overall. The Jukebox Rebel
^ Rare for modern times Allyo, certainly. Sticking to top-flight League games only, it's the first-time since 1961-62, although 1962-63 was only thwarted due to the fact that all the February matches were postponed. Still, 50+ years whichever way you look at it. Another way to look at it is we were only ever 5 games max without a win in the season past. Last time the max sequence was lower than that was 1962-63 when the longest winless run was 3. Never farthest away from a win were the fans of 1918-1919, who only ever seen the Jags go 2 games without a win max, despite only winning 17 of the 34. allyo
Cheers. So best team in my lifetime. I'm a youngster, or maybe a jinx, since Thistle won the last major trophy before I was born. Ps, that last stat Is amazing! Edited June 6, 2015 by allyo

That suggests to me we were very good at home and not so clever away or vice versa. Was that the case?
