Third Lanark
Home and easy ties for our favourite city neighbours for a change. yep and they will get the 2 live games as well so we don't even get some tv money as compo for a crap draw
Lindau
It's not unwinnable, but it's the 2nd hardest draw we could have got. We have nothing to lose as we will not be expected to win. The amount of times Sevco (in particular) and Celtic get drawn against so called lower clubs at home, happens far too often for there not to be something dodgy!
Big Col
Top 4 SPL clubs at home (assuming Hearts beat Hibs in replay). Fecking joke.

Lindau
Look, it's a one off cup game. They haven't taken us to the cleaners this season, all the games have been close. It's gonna be tough, but we don't lose a lot of goals. It will be a tight game and it's not unwinnable! Let's not start throwing in the towel a few minutes after the draw has been made!

Barney Rubble
Just a thought, because I can't be arsed looking it up: When Fake Thistle, St Johnstone, Hearts and Dundee United have won the cup in recent times, how many of them had to overcome either of the ugly sisters on their journey? Vaila Street
3 games on the box I think so it should be on - at least there's a £ bung that way.
Lindau
We don't lose many goals. True. But we score quite a few less. Hence, it will be a tight game and as I said, it's certainly not unwinnable. Better draw than getting Celtic, other than the financial gain if that had happened
The Jukebox Rebel
The only time Thistle have beaten Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup was in 1930 - en route to the final.

Lindau
Pretty sure someone, somewhere mentioned that since Sevco was formed 5 years ago they have been involved in around 16 cup ties where there was going to be home advantage and that they have gained that around 14 times. If that's true, it beggars belief! Edited February 12, 2017 by Lindau
clarencegarter
3 games on the TV so ours if it's on (should be as it's tie of the round on paper) will be played on the Sunday as the old firm can't play on the same day at home. jaggy
A fix? Do you really believe that? I don't, but the amount of draws the OF get at home to lower league opposition can't just be luck of the draw
Lindau
In December St Johnstone drew with them up there and Ross Co beat them at Dingwall. Wouldn't have been scared about taking any of those two on if they had been in the draw. We just need to get on with it and despite the unsurprising nature of the outcome of the draw, you generally have to beat at least one top side if you want to win it. Aberdeen are certainly not unbeatable!

Winter of '63
I was hoping for a quarter final tie at home which would also have given the club a much needed raised profile...seven of the other teams in the draw would have been a good away day...other than Celtic, Aberdeen away is the toughest draw we could have got and not a game I am likely to go to...particularly if it is a 12.30 kick off on Sunday. Perfect draw for the Broadcasters, Sponsors & the Bigger Clubs

Lindau
MacLeish appeared to be peering into the box. I noticed that as well. Was having a good look before shoving his hand in (missus) Given that he is hot favourite for the Sevco job, surely he should have been replaced
