lady-isobel-barnett
Haven't a clue what's going on but, apart from ourselves, the next club in our league I wish to see suffer the least financial agony is Accies.
eljaggo
Frem the BBC website "The SPFL warned clubs to guard against online fraud in August after Annan failed to receive an £18,000 payment from the league at the end of last season. The funds had instead been paid into a fraudulent account and police launched an investigation after the money was retrieved." Not sure where culpability lies - league, bank or club. Presumably other clubs may have been affected, but you would expect that they would have spotted any shortfall by now.

Big Col
Will be interesting to find out more details about how the fraud was perpetrated. If it's true that someone called them pretending to be from their bank and asked them for security information or advised them to move their money to another account, the person(s) who took the call and followed their instructions must be feeling rather foolish. Weebaw1
Those who do this are scum. I feel for Accies who continue to produce good young Scottish players. But if it had been Sevco......
Mr Bunny
Those who do this are scum. I feel for Accies who continue to produce good young Scottish players. But if it had been Sevco...... Yeah, why would anyone care if a cheat got cheated? Come to think of it they've been the biggest cheats in Scottish football for ages (assuming you go with the same club myth). But if it had been Sevco...... As far as I know there’s absolutely no evidence linking Sevco to any alleged fraud, but...

Knightswood Jag
Those who do this are scum. I feel for Accies who continue to produce good young Scottish players. But if it had been Sevco...... Will King not being able to buy the shares affect the existence of their club? Would be hilarious if the new club died as well
