Today's team talk is fairly easy. Their striker watt has said something that docherty and holt have told them everything about Thistle, and there will be no surprises. I've got that photocopied and put on the changing room wall. Then tell the players to go 'suprise this lot' and scud them 3 nil.

Get your CV off to Clyde Big Wull as their new manager might need an assistant:

Surprised McCall is going to Clyde. I would have thought he would be in the frame if Ayr or QoS or any other lower end championship/ top end league 1 club punted their managers. Far too good a manager for a club sitting bottom of Division 2. Unless Clyde have thrown money at him I can't understand why he would be willing to go there.

For Clyde that's a very good appointment if they can find him enough budget to recruit a team in January they will improve.

All the best to him.

He doesn’t look best pleased to be holding a Clyde scarf in the photo

Not even first choice ..... after Mick Kennedy, manager of Lowland League East Kilbride, held talks with the club and decided against a move

I was a coach with u17's there years ago...very poorly run. Chic charnley and Jim Duffy were 1st team coaches at the time up there

Does this free up the compensation he was getting from us, and if so, will the cash set aside for that go towards a January transfer budget? Has he given back that company car, so he,won't be advertising Thistle in Byres Rd?  😄

Pretty sure he has come to the end of his "gardening leave" so no cash remaining from him seeing out his contract.

Last night's game: scored 3, lost 4 but in my opinion sneddon sold the 1st 2 goals. I would put Mitchell back in.  We had tired legs, and when Alston scored the 3rd, i would have put on fresh legs.

Dust that CV down - vacancy at Queens Park.

Just goes to show that even having a wealthy backer and a supposedly great chief executive you can't guarantee success.
