Could you not try giving bad team talks to the other team next time round?
Big Wull
Big game today team, I say it most weeks......get right in their face, and an early 2 goals to deflate this lot. Let's pick ourselves up from last week and go repay me, ourselves and the fans.
Big Wull
With the light rain falling, I'd tell the strikers to chase in on ANY shot at the keeper incase he spills it, and try and keep shots low so they 'bounce' on the wet surface. Let's get the early goal, and big duncs lot will flap.
Big Wull
Today's team talk is fairly easy. Their striker watt has said something that docherty and holt have told them everything about Thistle, and there will be no surprises. I've got that photocopied and put on the changing room wall. Then tell the players to go 'suprise this lot' and scud them 3 nil.

Big Wull
Today's team talk : we must approach this game with the same attitude and commitment as last week. Go rite for the jugular and this lot will collapse 3 before half time is achievable. Our confidence is high, theirs is low. Early goal kills them off. I would have thought he would be in the frame if Ayr or QoS or any other lower end championship/ top end league 1 club punted their managers. Far too good a manager for a club sitting bottom of Division 2. Unless Clyde have thrown money at him I can't understand why he would be willing to go there. For Clyde that's a very good appointment if they can find him enough budget to recruit a team in January they will improve. All the best to him.
lady-isobel-barnett
Good luck to him. Unfortunately Clyde is a kinda graveyard for managers. Could be wrong but I can't recall any of their many past managers going back a good few years that are still managing. I suppose Ian at least doesn't have a lot to live up to. East Kent Jag II
Does this free up the compensation he was getting from us, and if so, will the cash set aside for that go towards a January transfer budget? Has he given back that company car, so he,won't be advertising Thistle in Byres Rd? 😄

exiledjag
I see the Dick Campbell (alias 'The Bunnet') has departed from Arbroath) following today's Cup defeat by Spartans. Any chance we could recruit him as Director of Football given Ian McCall is no longer available.......only joking!!
Big Wull
Last night's game: scored 3, lost 4 but in my opinion sneddon sold the 1st 2 goals. I would put Mitchell back in. We had tired legs, and when Alston scored the 3rd, i would have put on fresh legs.

Just goes to show that even having a wealthy backer and a supposedly great chief executive you can't guarantee success.
