laukat Posted July 13, 2022 Report Share Posted July 13, 2022 We are night and day from last season. We look to be playing a considerably quicker tempo and all of the players look sharper. Harry Milne is looking like a real player. He's still defending like he's a wingback but his forward runs are brilliant and causing Killie a load of problems. Would be nice to see Fitzpatrick on for Smith to see how Milne and Fitzpatrick or Milne and Lawless combine. Wouldn't fancy being the Kilmarnock right-back facing Milne and Fitzpatrick. Only concern is the defence. When we lose the ball in midfield Bannigan and Docherty are having to move very quickly to plug the gaps which in turn is leaving Muirhead & Holt looking a bit fragile. Thistle88 Posted July 13, 2022 Report Share Posted July 13, 2022 Aero has played very well tonight so far at CB. Turner I don’t feel has had any real effect on the game neither has Smith. Milne looks like he could be an absolute great signing, he will make mistakes defensively but looks a real find ! Banzos done sorry but he really isn’t good enough anymore. If we are going to play this way with Milne and especially so high up the park we are still crying out for a ball winning midfielder who can drop in, or there will be a lot of big score lines next season.
